My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to think if The Most Interesting Man in the World, Magic Mike, Mad Max, and James Bond could have a lovechild together, I would be it.

A 90-year old woman from southern Mississippi, whose neighbor's home I helped to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, still wishes me happy birthday nearly every year. When we met, she tried to get me to take her granddaughter out and I think that's still her goal. Sorry to ruin your matchmaker plans, Edna.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a lot going on. I study physical therapy at Northwestern's medical school in Streeterville. Currently, I'm in my first full-time clinical at an outpatient clinic in the loop and I love it! I spend my days treating patients: reducing their pain/stiffness/inflammation, increasing their mobility/strength/balance, and building their confidence in their bodies. I also have a pretty amazing hobby that allows me to make a few dollars, travel, meet fascinating people, and wear a lot of different clothes, though it's taken a backseat with how hectic school has been.

I love to workout and cook good meals--living a healthy lifestyle is a huge part of who I am and I want a partner who shares that quality. I play as much guitar and piano as I can, and I love songwriting. I'm beginning to record and I'd like to get back to playing live soon. I love trying new activities and I really want to get into tennis, so bonus points if you're up for a little net action.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I remember to eat each day, which I'm very proud of. I also am quite good at making sure I wear matching socks. I only screw that up occasionally. So I have that going for me.

I build the best imaginary rocket ships. My 4-year old nephew and I are going to take ours into space the next time we're together.

I've also been told I give some pretty amazing hugs.
The first things people usually notice about me

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm always reading. This list should be a lot longer: "The Little Prince," "Count of Monte Cristo," "LOTR," "Shantaram," "Harry Potter," "Natural History of the Senses;" Garcia-Marquez, Neruda, Brontë (both!), Sedaris, Plath, Gladwell, Palahniuk, Tolstoy, Vonnegut, Murakami, Hemingway, and Watterson (yes, he absolutely counts) are some of my favorite authors.

Movies are awesome--I'm always up for staying in, cuddling up, and watching a good movie (or two).

I'm not super into TV, but I generally watch more lighthearted TV shows. I can get into dramas, though--I loved "True Detective."

I love most music, but my favorites are rock and electronic. Especially trance and house, classic rock, alt rock, indie, punk, gritty blues, R & B, and a little folk. I'm currently on a massive Velvet Underground kick--give them a listen if you don't (or do) know them.

Food--otherthan shellfish and mayo, I'm good to go.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Connection
2) Adventure
3) Passion
4) Adrenaline
5) Beauty
6) Challenge
7) Avocados (so what...I chose 7)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I helped a friend/coworker create her profile on here. The second she made her page public, it was a constant barrage of messages: boring ("hi"), creepy, boring ("sup?"), sexual, violent, sexual, a combo of everything, boring ("wats you're name"), etc. She deleted her account within a day. I wonder how some believe that's the best way to make a first impression.

Also, how some people can be so drop-dead gorgeous on the outside and yet so drop-dead garbage on the inside.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to completely understand the brachial plexus, its role in sensory and motor innervation, and how to best teach a person whose upper trunk has experienced a traumatic traction to effectively perform functional daily activities independently. Either that or partying like a rock star.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It was me. I let the dogs out.
