My self-summary
I would definitely describe myself as a fun/silly womyn. I love to laugh, and have been told my laughter is contagious (might have to do with the fact that it can get so loud you can't do anything but laugh with me...!) I'm always being told I'm down-to-earth and laid back. I'm also quite into the whole birth culture scene. I'm a doula, and I read a LOT about birth, herbalism, and homeopathy. One major thing to know: My kid is my world! He's my buddy and my little star. Nothing comes between him and I. I like funny movies/shows and books about sci-fi, spiritual exploration, and feminist literature. Music... hmmm... Ani DiFranco's cool, and so is Ben Harper, Metric, Neutral Milk Hotel, Cat Power, Janis Joplin... ok, there's really too much music that I like to name here without taking up a heck of a lot of space. So, uh, see below. In that section. You know. Basically I like *nearly* anything, but I especially enjoy folk-rock.

I tend to know how to make most people feel either happy or comfortable or both. I am also VERY honest and upfront. Yup. It's true. Hehe. Oh yeah, I'm also currently identifying as a Pagan. My main Goddess is Gaia.

I am trustworthy, adventurous, and eccentric

What I’m doing with my life
I'm a doula, and will eventually take a midwifery programme. I've also considered studying homeopathy.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A)"The Birth House" by Ami McKay, "The Mists of Avalon" series by Marion Zimmer Bradley, "Stardancer" by Spider Robinson, "Spiritual Midwifery" by Ina May Gaskin, "The Pagan Christ" by Tom Harpur, nearly anything by Kurt Vonnegut or Chris Moore. Oh man... there are WAY too many books that I like to name here. :) I LOVE reading...

B)Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tank Girl, 50 First Dates, Love Actually, K-Pax, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Water, Amelie, Boys Don't Cry, But I'm a Cheerleader, LOTR, Basically most things with Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler and Kevin Spacey... And last but not least: anything made by my pal Guber. ;) He rox my sox.

C)Ani DiFranco, Kimya Dawson, Terra Naomi, Cyndi Lauper, The Cranberries, Eisley, Dido, Alanis (yes still...), Indigo Girls, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Queen, Greenday (the OLD stuff), Jewel, Tapping the Vein, Womb Boom, and random hippies drumming. ;-) That's all I can think of at this moment... but there's lots more.

D)Many, many yummy things.

The six things I could never do without
Being a mother to my child; art in all its glorius forms (especially my friend Dana's yoni art); people who crunch hard candy; cold pillows; weird movies that people don't get; birth culture.
