My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love my dog, being outside, riding bikes, talking to people and reading. I grew up sailing with my dad, It's one of my favorites. I have a great job but it's not what I want to do forever. I'm always looking to move in any direction, but often wise up. I've got a pretty dry sense of humor, sarcasm is fun, sorry. I'm always on the go but love weekends away or mornings when I can actually sit and have coffee.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, chasing my dog, chasing our duck, and probably reading.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm not too bad at meeting new people and finding ways to relate with just about anyone it seems. I'm also an awesome uncle, just ask all my nephews. I like to build, fix and work with metal.
Also overthinking hypothetical situations to exhaustion. I like to dream anyway. listening

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I listen to the music. Everything from the Faces to The Mountain Goats. I really like Joy Division, The Clash, Wilco, Black Keys, David Bowie, Van Morrison, We Are Scientist, The New Pornographers, Deerhunter, Icona Pop, Portishead, and The Dead Milkmen when I'm working and a lot more. Growing up all I listened to was Billy Joel and I had all of his tapes. He's still one of my favorites.

Reading is cool. Some of my favorite authors are Vonnegut, Poyer, Kerouac, Patrick O'Brian, Jim Harrison, McGuane, Faulkner and Wendell Berry. I recently read The Art Of Racing In The Rain and loved it. Probably because I love dogs and formula 1, and family. It was a great story.

I really like movies, particularly 80's movies.

I like to watch Luther, Peaky Blinders, the new Sherlock, Shameless, Dexter, Homeland, Girls, Game of Thrones, Californication, West Wing reruns, and workaholics.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog
fly rod
Gin and Tonics
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about sailing around the world and how to be the best at what I do. However being the best sounds exhausting, and i've got too many other interests outside of work. Weird stuff, nicknames and wishing I was swimming. Mainly sailing though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I used to be out at dive bars or on a weekend adventure with my buddies in Michigan, but I moved here recently and my Fridays are a lot more of catching up with a friend or a tv series and chores. I'm working on changing that up though with some camping and canoeing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not allowed in Schnucks anymore..
