I am curious, smexy, and silly.
My Self-Summary
I'm a strange mix of small-town country boy meets big city (lived
in Atlanta for 7 years now). Sounds horrid, but I think it's turned
out alright. I probably try to keep my tastes a bit more eclectic
than they otherwise would be to compensate.
I have some musical talent, I'm more or less intelligent, very
easygoing, empathetic, handy.
As for shortcomings - my least favorite is probably shyness.
Luckily, I have a strong desire to improve myself, so that's
getting better. I'm a bit quirky, but that could fall under
endearing or annoying as hell. I guess everyone has their quirks
though. Quirks, quirks, quirks. Funny-looking word.
There it is. "Self-summarized in about 108 brilliant words." Well
shucks, thanks.
What I’m doing with my life
Did college for a bit, stepped out into the workforce for a bit,
and then the economy decided that I was supposed to go back to
school. So currently, I'm finishing up a degree, while doing a
little freelance stuff on the side. I'm pretty happy with that -
should keep me entertained anyway.
I’m really good at
killing plants, fixing things, Guitar Hero, starting 4 books at
once and never finishing any of them, and being awkward.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
'arry Potter, Chuck Palahniuk, Hunter S. Thompson, To Kill a
Mockingbird. I like to stay informed about topics in my field of
work and politics too.
As for movies, how about I list the first five from my bookshelf:
Fight Club, The Shining, Pulp Fiction, Office Space, Kung Pow:
Enter the Fist.
Music: alternative, progressive rock, progressive metal, new wave,
singer-songwriters, noise pop, r&b, punk, ska-punk, alternative
hip hop, jazz, symphonic power metal (don't knock it).
Food: I don't think I have favorites, I just have unnaturally
long-lasting cravings. At the moment, that is chicken salad
sandwiches.
The six things I could never do without
Guitar, computer, my tuxedo cat (named Oreo of all things), a good
tennis shoe, chips & salsa (counts as one in my mind), reading
material.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Feels like I've already bared my soul, so I'll stop here for now.
You should message me if
you want to.
If you're done with or working on college, between 21ish and 28ish,
don't smoke, and don't have kids, that's a plus.
If I viewed your profile and didn't send a message, don't let that
deter you. I'm shy.
