I teach liberal arts to the disenfranchised at a university in Palestine. I actually really like it despite occasionally dwelling on the neo-colonialist nature of my job and the ultimate irony that I now enact that which I have been taught to hate.

In other news, I conduct independent research on transgendered prostitutes living in Palestinian refugee camps. I accidentally dated a homeless guy for a while but kinda liked it.

I'm home in PA for the summer, but plan on returning to Palestine at some point.

I have gold hair and yellow-brown eyes. My genetic makeup gives me deep bronze tans in the summer. Under bright light I sometimes look metallic.

However the first thing people tend to notice about me is the fact that I am probably not appropriately dressed for any given situation.

I just read Dune, now going back to read Adorno and Benjamin again. I am also reading Madame Bovary, but will probably break down and just read more of A Song of Ice and Fire instead.

I just got off a binge where I watched every gay movie on Netflix. Most of them were very bad. Some were okay. A few were insightful.

Ugh filling this out is so boring at this point Nicki-Minaj-palestinian-hip-hop-/totally beasting on that Gotye song/really love mexican food but am vaguely still lying to myself about a summer raw foods diet when in reality im probs gonna drink my dinner anyway.

almost certainly not sure where I am. For the record last Friday I drove 12 hours to Chicago to visit a friend I used to live with in Cairo, went out on Boy's Town, got wasted, made a class act of myself, and then slept in some rando's car.
