My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
TL;DR I'm a cycling, foodie film nerd and I'm looking for someone to try out all the hipster bars and popup restaurants and food trucks with me, while planning adventurous holidays and having intense conversations about random nonsense.

I cycle to work (nearly) every day, even in the rain, on my ridiculous hipster single-speed bike. Recently, I've started building a new bike - it's a classic 1990 Japanese track bike - but rest assured, I am not a bike bore - I just love whizzing in and out of London traffic(!) and I hate the tube.

Cycling gives me a bit of an excuse to indulge in food. I'm a big fan of Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese food, and I'm half Japanese, so I pretend to be a connoisseur of sushi. I also like cooking, and baking pies in particular - the bigger and meatier, the better.

Also, I probably watch more films than you - if you think you can challenge me, bring it on! I don't have a favourite genre, director or actor, and will happily watch cheesy rom-coms and gritty art-house dramas in one sitting. Last best film was The Double, although I also liked the second Captain America film.

I don't have a 1/5/10 year life plan at the moment, although I have had them in the past and mostly achieved them. I'm pretty happy, and that's the most important thing to me. I'm lucky enough to enjoy my work and to be my own boss, and I have some great friends. The only thing I want right now is a loving relationship - hence being on here.

That said, I do have aspirations to grow my business and I'd like to have a family someday (although I'm not getting any younger, so someday soon, I guess). I also have vague daydreams about getting into cycle racing, playing in a jazz band (I pretend to play clarinet) and living abroad.

Not that I actually listen to jazz all that much. I'm a fan of Artie Shaw and Benny Goodman, but I listen to anything and everything. Some favourites include Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails and Boards of Canada.

And just like everyone else, I like travelling. Who doesn't like travelling? I've only 2 continents left to check off my list: South America and Antarctica. I think I'll try to do them both in one - travel down from Colombia, though Ecuador, Peru, Brazil and then take the boat from the tip of Argentina into the ice fields!
