My self-summary
Hi, I'm Andy!

I am what you would call a dualist: I like to be in the company of people as much as I sometimes like to be alone with my thoughts. I enjoy sitting in and watching a movie as much as going camping and visiting new countries/places. I can be funny, bubbly and cheerful sometimes whilst being shy and reserved other times. Of course, you could also call it not being able to make up my mind! :)

The truth is I like to explore every aspect of our world, culture, geography, personalities. I cherish small and big moments alike and I'm looking for somebody to join me on these journeys.

Films are one of my biggest passion: I watch a lot of them. My favourite director being Kubrick, followed by Aronofsky and Tarkovsky. I've long been toying with the idea of making my own shorts/pilots and have finally started putting my ideas on paper and forming plans, writing scripts, concepts and so on. I also got to work on set helping with an indie horror flick but now I really want to make something of my own and have nearly finished my first screenplay!

Apart from that, I enjoy being creative overall. I love 3D Modelling and Animation and have done a lot of it both as a hobby and professionally. I dabbed in a bit of architecture but I've since moved on. Nowadays I particularly enjoy making the odd sculpt in zBrush or scene in 3D Studio Max. I used to be able to draw somewhat when younger and now I'm trying to get back into it digitally with the help of my tablet.

Travelling is something else I've been doing quite a bit of: I've seen quite a bit of Europe and have also visited tiny bits of the Middle East. My favourite places so far have been islands like Thassos, the Canaries or Sicily for their 'island' vibe and India for being completely different from anywhere else I've ever been so far.

These are some of the things I do for fun. Career wise, I work as a Marketing Director for a London based company. We train creatives how to use digital media software such as Photoshop or Final Cut Pro. I'm really happy with my job as it's the perfect combination of my degree (in Marketing communications) and my hobbies.

I would love to meet a girl that's full of life, with a positive attitude and a strong personality. Someone to join me on my travels and be spontaneous and energetic while still loving a night in, watching a movie or two... or a Stargate marathon maybe?.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently fimishing my degree in Advertising and Marketing while dedicating myself to my career as a Marketing Manager as well.
I’m really good at
Being creative and thinking about situations in different ways. I always see and analyse both sides of an argument.

There's also the marketing and graphics stuff.

Perhaps most importantly, I'm pretty good at making people around me smile (mostly by making fun of myself)!
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told it's my eyes. Although if you ask my parents it would probably be that I'm a bit skinny!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Shows: Breaking Bad, Eastbound and down, Last man on earth, Parks and recreation, Trailer park boys, Reno 911, Friends, Stargate SG1 (OK, even Stargate Atlantis), Scrubs, Ghost in the Shell series, Neon Genesis, etc.

Music: anything really though some favourites are: Moderat, Apparat, Macklemore, Sting, Imagine Dragons, Eminem, Royksopp, Trentemoller, The Beatles, The Knife
The six things I could never do without
My friends. A lot of people say friends but I genuinely seek to be surrounded by people as often as possible; friends and family. My music, my pen and paper and my tablet which I use for writing, painting and the occasional z-brush sculpt. Imgur
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Physics, the universe, philosophy, society and lately a lot about the role of art in our lives. Then it's right onto what sort of silly prank I could play on my friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out/in with my friends, watching a movie or on some sort of trip.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Is that I am very shy when it comes to girls. I sometimes get very excited about meeting a new person and I end up messing it up!
You should message me if
You are looking for someone to talk to and share small and big moments with.
