Hello, all. I'm a senior at NYU studying linguistics and American Sign Language who's living in the West Village.

I'm from a hoity toity town in Connecticut, but don't ever plan on leaving New York again, and spend most of my time either working or just hanging out.

I enjoy trying new food, going to bars, and just meandering throughout New York City.

I'm pretty sarcastic and don't take most things seriously, and I feel like I have a pretty broad sense of humor.

I spent a pretty good amount of my life underwater.

I'll read anything with the words "new study" or "new survey/poll" in the title.

No one has ever guessed my ethnicity correctly within the first three tries... ever.

What I’m doing with my life

Not much right now. I'm helping run a travel company and going to school.

Hopefully I'll either go to grad school or find a job so I can stay in the city... either way, I'm not really worried about it.

Books: Clockwork Orange, the Alchemist, Everything is Illuminated, Freakonomics, the Drunkard's Walk, Siddhartha, 1984, everything by Sedaris and Klosterman.

Movies: City of God, Children of Men, Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tommy Boy, anything by Wes Anderson.

Music: Too much

Food: Anything and everything that's not from Ethiopia... it's the only food that I can honestly say I never want to eat again.

Lots of times I'll trail off when someone's talking to me because I pay more attention to their accent or how they're saying something instead of what they're actually saying.
