My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been doing a lot of "market research" on internet dating, and it seems like it's a good way to provide a laundry list of reasons not to meet someone. Bumping into someone in real life gives you an opportunity to see if there is a spark, and if there is, then things like the wrong kind of pet or the wrong education level simply don't matter.

So here's my bare-bones profile. Think of it as a brief first encounter, where you leave knowing a few facts, but are intrigued to learn more.

I'm passionate about'll see that as soon as we run into each other. You'll see the warm smile I carry everywhere, how my heart radiates love and light into the world, and how friendly, accommodating, and confident I am.

I'm funny too. I made you laugh probably within the first 30 seconds of knowing you. When I touched you on the arm casually, you noticed, and maybe it even tingled a little.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a photographer mostly full time these days, and moving away from my old web design gig. I photograph people, mostly, including high school seniors, professional headshots, model shoots, creative and fantasy portraiture, families and even have a couple weddings this summer. Additionally, I teach photography workshops in a couple groups I run through
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at making people feel comfortable and welcome.

I don't get to read as much as I like because I usually have my face buried in the computer most of the day and need time for my eyes to rest a bit. I did read The Book Thief recently, which was amazing. I also typically enjoy lighter fare, ala Harry Potter. One of my favorite stories is Holes, which I discovered while teaching a special needs student to read a few years ago.

Breaking Bad was perfect. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is actually really well done. Old favorites are The Office, Seinfeld, and Scrubs.

I love music of all kinds. My latest go-to has been the 90's pop station on Pandora. I have to "thumbs-down" all boy bands, though. Some things just don't improve with age.

Indian food, Thai and Pho are favorites (especially if said pho goes light on the msg). I just discovered honey Greek yogurt mixed with chia seeds...heaven! (sing that out loud in an angelic voice)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I've been spending a lot of time thinking about love and relationships and the next steps I should take to make my dreams come true in regards to relationships, career, fitness, and other areas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It depends on the night. I went through a downtown bar phase last summer with some friends and am still not ready to go's so draining! I prefer quieter venues with live music. Sometimes I work on photos and watch Shark Tank. Other times I go for a moonlit hike or some other contemplative and quiet thing to do, solo or with company.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an open book in most regards.
