My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Since brevity is the soul of wit, I will be brief.

Here's a madlib for people struggling with their self-summary:

I (verb) at writing these (plural noun), because I (verb) at (adjective ending in -ing) myself. Oh well, here goes (noun). I love a (adjective) (noun) and my friends say I'm a (adjective) (noun), but I'll let you (verb) for yourself. (emoticon).

You can't get to (verb) me by (adjective ending in -ing) this, because everyone (verb). So just (verb) me and we can get to (verb) each other that way!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently pursuing bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Physics. I'm also attempting to craft the next great American Novel.

I hope to work in aerospace, astronomy, or astrophysics at the end of this long, science-y journey. For fun, obviously, cause I'll have already written the next Great American novel.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Scrabble.

Conversations and building rapport.

Humor. Improv.

Writing neatly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I would be far better suited to swinging an axe on some ancient battlefield, or hunting furs on a frontier river, than to navigating the complexities of the modern world. Every now and then, I wish that were the case.

That I would be a good stand-up comedian.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Lord of the Rings, The Road, Salem's Lot. I will read anything I can get my hands on from Philippa Gregory to John Steinbeck. I love books.

Movies: Casablanca, The Empire Strikes Back, Dogma. In most of my favorite movies, someone has a sword. Sometimes it's made of lasers. But I love watching movies too. It's one of the best experiences to share.

Shows: Firefly, Star Trek, The Wire. I also watch a lot of cooking shows and non-fiction TV. Binging on TV is my current vice.

Music: My musical tastes are pretty eclectic. Punk, ska, blues, and classic rock make up the core of it probably.

Food: Vietnamese, Mexican, Breakfast. I like trying new things, adventurous food, trying good things. I like food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
--The raw potential in a blank sheet of paper
--Falling asleep to the sound of rain.
--The smell of an old book
--The other side of the pillow.
--The immensity of the universe and all of its secret workings.
--12-sided dice.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Brave new worlds and the people that inhabit them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grabbing a beer and swapping stories with friends.

Making something delicious.

Throwing myself at creating or discovering my next big thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to pretend I am opening automatic doors with my mind.
