My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
first things first: I like my life ;)

If you are familiar with Myers-Briggs Type Indication, I would tell you that my profile is somewhere between INTP and ENTJ. If you are not, I can recommend the literature. It’s pretty interesting, well at least the first 100 sentences you might read. ;)

An other big thing is polyamory. I strongly believe that humans are not monogamous and a lot of our problems in relations, romantic and not romantic, are based on this conflict between our nature and culture. And yes. That is biologistically. On the other hand I think that poly is now a bit to modern, and there is a lot going on with the poly lable on it, I can’t agree, primary the idea that polyamory is great because whenever something in a relationship goes wrong, you still have someone who is more fun.

I love long talks, both face to face and via computer and I love to argue, because this is still the best way for me to learn something new.

i have a thing for facts. i do like ideas as well, no question about that, but when it comes down to decisions, i go with facts rather than "but wouldnt it be nice" visions.

and i am in an happy open prim. relationship.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I try to improve myself, not because I think I am not completely in some way, but because I think that is what makes us human, to go ways that might look wrong, just to prove that they are wrong and to find out that in some cases our feeling was wrong and something beautiful was hiding at the end of an way that has been looking awful at the first moment.

I spend about 65% of my lifetime, like the most of us, with work and sleep.
The rest of the time, I love to go biking, wander thru my garden, play games, read, write and do a lot of talking.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think its listening. the secret between is pretty simple: to improve your listening, try to shut your own mouth.
damn, that was a hard lesson ... but to be true: i like it now.

I am also quite good in imagine worlds. Tinking worlds together has no real use for me, because of my lag of finesse with words (blessed people like tolkien had both), but its still fun and id didnt stop me to start writing anyway.

Since I live in a house again, my craftingskills improved. Slightly. I hope, but I am still better with tiny stuff, like painting miniatures, even that I don’t have the time to do this right now.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Right now most of the stuff I read has something to do with my own novel, so I read a lot of history, ancient cultures and techniques and so on.
To think about my favorit book is difficult, but I think it’s the "night watch" (Lukyanenko). Those where not the best books I had ever in my hands, but there is something with them that makes them unique. I think it’s the ease and causualness they send out.
With nonfiction I love to read Feynman and d. Hofstadter.
the suprise of the year was for me alex saló with "euronightmare"

With movies its similar to the books. I think its donnie darko, watchmen, shortbus and memento.

Its easyer with shows: game of thrones, big bang theory, firefly and battlestar galactica

And its again hard with music. Classic? Dark wave? Metal? Something in this corner, but I try more or less anything new with music. Besides Twelve-tone technique.

I also like to play games. With time my favourite playground did move back to the real world, so I love to participate in boardgames or rollplaygames.
computergames are still a part of my life … its mostly within the strategy and building genre .. most of them are somehow something like sim city and/or minecraft .. ah .. and ingress.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(people and things you can do (from talking over sex to just look them into the eyes) with them don't count for things, isnt it?)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
() why people do things they don't like to do and never stop telling
me that doing things they would like to do is wrong.

that has been confusing me for years.

() Polyamory (not that often anymore ... but still)

() my novel

() idealists and how fast they become what they hate
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
in 96%: in my home/garden/pool

i still didn’t make it to metalab. Perhaps it really is the pendant to the pub for geeks i was looking for…
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
