My self-summary
I moved to Oly in December and promptly got sucked into seasonal depression. Poor timing on my part. But now the sun stays out for full days at a time and it's not so cold and people are smiling again and I feel exponentially happier. So I'm making friends and getting the fuck out of my blanket fort where I've been hibernating. Spring is great! Also my birthday just happened. Quarter century, bitches!! Guess who's stoked to be a grownup!

I spent the last 3 or 4 years traveling all over this grand country of ours, and really needed a place to call home. Last year I hit my 50th state (it was Ohio), which was what I told myself I had to do before leaving the country again. Now I'm just biding my time, waiting for the right opportunity. And in the mean time I'm plugging into this fucking great community and getting involved in lots of projects. I feel like I've seen enough of this country and met enough of its people that I'm stoked to be from here. I mean, I'm from Idaho, where there are more natural hot springs than anywhere in the world. And Death Valley? The Rockies? Southern Appalachia? What a fucking great country. Too bad the gov'ment is full o' shit.
What I’m doing with my life
I am trying to save up to buy a bus to turn into a mobile food truck/infoshop. Settling into the first place I've rented in 4 years. Scoping out trees to build a treehouse. Learning to sail. When the weather gets nice again I'll be spending lotsa time on my sailboat, getting it fit for the high seas. I'm also collecting stories from as many lady hitchhikers as I can so I can compile them into a zine...and one day into a book. If you wanna contribute Please contact me. For reals.
I’m really good at
Hitchhiking. Eating. Dancing. Cooking. Painting houses. And murals. Meeting new people. Learning new shit. Creative problem solving.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
What Dreams May Come. And Benny & Joon. And the Fifth Element. And lots of cartoons and musicals. And Star Trek. Especially DS9.

I'm pretty into mythologies...especially when I can retell them my way...which involves a lot of swearing. In other news: I'm a fan of Paolo Coehlo, Barbara Kingsolver, Tom Robbins, and stories about wizards. I also enjoy lotsa dystopian stories, you know, cautionry tales about how fucked up power can be. See:1984, Children of Men, Ender's Game, V for Vendetta, The Hunger Games, etc. Plus! I like sci-fi, especially short stories.

But actually, it's all about good comics. Art and dialogue all at once? Fuck yeah. Who's read Saga, come on! The fucking greatest. I love Brian K Vaughn. Y: the Last Man? Genius.

And I'm growing my collection of zines to start a distro outta my bus. If you are a zine maker you should contact me and we can work something out where I sell your shit.

Neil Young's "Unknown Legend" is the soundtrack of most of my traveling daydreams. I like Basia Bulat...a lot. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. Balkan Beat Box. Favorite band of all time: Elephant Revival.

Food is...probably my favorite thing about being alive. I love all of it, eating it, making it, looking at it, talking about it...yeah. Lately though I've been lazy in the kitchen and opting for comfort foods: grilled cheese with apple butter on top and a bowl of cereal with whole milk. I like dairy a lot. I made a resolution to try every cheese in the world. Also I have a sweet kitchen now. Come over and cook with me. Or I'll cook for you. Either way.
The six things I could never do without
a kazoo
my thumbs
duct tape
cheese
greenwashed sugar cereal
raw milk.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chasing windmills.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I say that I live in Oly cause I pay rent here, but I'm only actually around for maybe half the month. I spend lots of time in Portland pretending to be productive.

Also my favoritest poem is the Jabberwocky.
