I am sometimes talkative, often unromantic, and easily distracted.

My Self-Summary

I'm not really your average girl. I never did cheerleading or girl scouts or... really any extra-curricular activities. I wasn't a band geek. I was kind of a choir freak, though. I graduated high school with a 3.7 GPA. I graduated college with my AA in Liberal Arts with a 3.7 GPA.

I've had several boyfriends, and it always feels a little weird to me. I get bored easily, and I never really know what to do, in a relationship. I'm currently seeing Masked_bandit. We'll see how that goes. I'm optimistic.

Let's see, what else? I live with my folks in an old farm house in a small town near Kalamazoo. It's... okay. I look forward to making enough money/find a roommate who I can stand so I can move out. I *almost* make enough to get my own place, and that's ultimately my goal. I like my alone time, although I typically fare better when I'm social.

I don't drive. I hate driving. I don't have my license. I don't have a car. I don't have any intention of getting either (unless I can afford a SmartCar. Then I'll get my license. Those things are so freaking adorable!).

What I’m doing with my life

Currently, I am working at a liquor store. It's a job. I'm thankful for it, even though some days when I wake up in the morning (at the crack of noon, since I work second shift) I feel like jumping in front of traffic instead of going into work.

I keep considering going back to school, but it's so expensive, and I don't know what I want to do with my life, so going back to school for nothing seems rather pointless. Still, I did like going to classes and learning new things.

I like to travel. I've only been outside the country once. I went to London, and it was amazing. I want to travel more, but it is expensive, so we shall see.

I’m really good at

baking. I love to bake. I also like to cook, but I generally think I am better at baking.

listening. Although this is sort of a sometimes thing. I have a bad habit of interrupting.

...Um. Other things, but I won't say what here. You shall have to ask.

The first things people usually notice about me

My labret stud, one of my piercings.
My tattoo - well, one of them. Music notes above my left wrist.
Um. I lisp? I suppose that's sort of noticeable. I guess probably most 20-somethings don't lisp. However, my coworker insists that it's cute.
I'm short and curvy.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. If you haven't read it, go do so. It's life-changing. Or life-affirming. Something. It's a great book.

My favorite movie is probably either The Day After Tomorrow, or National Treasure. I like semi-realistic movies. If after watching it, I can think, "Yes, this could really happen" I like it.

My favorite genre of music is country. I like patriotic songs, and sad songs. If it's sad and patriotic, all the better. I actually also like a lot of Christian music. I love Celtic music, show tunes, and lots of other stuff, too.

I like trying new and different foods. Indian food is yummy, but a tad bit too spicy. Chinese food disgusts me, but that's because I ate it at least three times a week for three or four years, and I'm not exaggerating at all.

The six things I could never do without

Tea, kisses, cookies, conversation, books, and writing.

CupidRich helped me make this list. :)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I'm going to do with my life (hopefully make myself useful at this new job), what I should spend my money on (most recent big expense: a new tattoo), why I never have time to do anything (second shift suuuucks).

On a typical Friday night I am

Home. Like now. Go figure.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I actually twiddle my thumbs. Literally. Anything else you shall have to ask me.

You should message me if

you're participating in NaNoWriMo. (Or if you want to know what it is.)

you're looking for friends, like me! I'm not looking for a boyfriend or a girlfriend or anything like that -- I've got Masked_bandit for that right now. One boyfriend is enough.

You should NOT message me if you can't type properly (really, capitalization isn't required but you should make an effort on spelling and punctuation like commas and apostrophes in the proper places), if you're married, if you're just looking to score.
