My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am quiet at first glance and in big groups, but when you get to know me I am funny and talkative. I have a dry sense of humor. I tend to carry myself in a stylish, creative and classy manner. I mean that both in how I dress and also my personality. I am very kind and accepting of most everyone. I'm very laid back. It takes a lot to make me mad. I'm an intelligent woman who has always prided herself in that fact. I love to travel and wish that I could travel more, but I am trying to save up to buy a house. I am also really interested in business and finance. I have two cats, Nicodemus and Klaus.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a music teacher. I teach voice and beginning piano. I am happy with where I am, but if I keep at it I am going to want to go back and get my Master's in Vocal Pedagogy in a few years. I love the type of expression that opera and musical theatre offer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing, studying, hula hooping... driving? Budgeting. Being the voice of reason in a sea of insanity. Playing the piano. Being laid back.

I haven't read any books lately, but I love to get lost in a good book. The last book I read that I really loved was Rebecca. I also just started getting into Henry Miller. Anna Karenina. Germs, Guns and Steel. C.S. Lewis. Books of art works like Klimt. I guess I mostly read self-help books though. I am currently reading one on real estate investment.

I love Hitchcock movies, anything by Wes Anderson, and I have to admit I am a sucker for most romantic-comedy chick flicks and just comedy in general.

As for music, I enjoy me some top forty like everyone else.
Because of my education really enjoy classical. Rigoletto is my favorite opera, surprisingly for the drama rather then the music. Composers I like are Verdi, Mozart arias, any of the french "impressionists" like Faure, Debussy and Ravel. I also like Brahms, Stravinsky, Schumann, and Schubert; of course Beethoven and Bach; Also, Chopin and Tchaikovsky. I love to go see the DOH and the DSO performances. My favorite choir composer is Eric Whitacre. Some indie artists I like are Regina Spektor, Feist, The New Pornographers, Arcade Fire, Metric, Stars. Bjork. Sigor Ros, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Radiohead, The Cure, Beatles, The Talking Heads, Morrissey, the Smiths, The Clash, Johanna Newsome, Firehorse...

I like food that is natural and healthy, although I also enjoy a pizza every once and a while. CHOCOLATE=addicted. I like to cook and in the last year I have been getting into it a lot more.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What it would be like if I were traveling instead of in Detroit...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Thinking about how much I hate working on Saturday. Planning lessons and hopefully having a chance to hang out for a bit.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm looking for a man who is kind, affectionate, intelligent, trustworthy, and fun to give my heart to, and I have a lot of heart to give.

Also, you are not asking me if I will teach you to sing or play piano. First of all I am not going to let some guy I don't know pay me to scrutinize his singing and piano playing in the guise of him dating me. Second of all if I heard most of you sing or play you would probably lose most of your attractiveness, lol
