Books: Anything by Neil Gaiman (except maybe Anansi Boys, that was shiite), no one makes me laugh like Terry Pratchett, no one makes me cry like Murakami (yes, I do say things like that in real life). Those are the staples. Creation by Gore Vidal kept me company on one of those epic trips in search of myself. I'm still looking. I also enjoy Julian Barnes, Paul Auster, Dystopian novels, Siri Hustvedt, Bill Bryson (Ok I think I'm done with name-dropping for now). Ummm I'm also kind of a fantasy geek so... Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire (Years before the TV Show came out. I'm legit like that.), Patrick Rothfuss, Tigana.

Music: Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, The Killers, Pink Floyd, Regina Spektor, The Civil Wars, Adele, Anna Nalick, The Replacements, Bon Iver, Robert Francis, Paolo Nutini, Train, Snow Patrol, Dream Theatre...

Movies: The Motorcycle Diaries, The Beginners, Lars and the Real Girl, Cheesy John Hughes classics =)
