My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Looking for friends!
My girlfriend is in Brazil for the next 9 months and I probably shouldn't spend the whole time just getting high alone. So, are you looking for a new smoking and/or trivia buddy?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a lot of free time between projects at work. I've spent most of today watching HGTV and eating waffles.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Maximizing fuel efficiency/annoying the shit out of the people driving behind me.
And trivia.

Well, I finally read all the Harry Potters. Now reading Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.
I listen to a lot of atmospheric vaguely 80s sounding synthy indie dreampop, mostly in the background while I work.
I watch a lot less TV than I used to. I still watch every Daily Show, but sometimes I skip the interview. Also looking forward to new seasons of Rick and Morty and The Knick.
As for movies, I've always been a big fan of TCM and Wes Anderson(I once had it all worked out that my family was(were?) the Tenenbaums...plus a hint of Bottle Rocket).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I love thinking about science and progress and how amazing it is that we were formed from nothing through billions of years of random trial and error.

How much is shit going to change in the coming years? Solar power, self-driving cars, basic universal income, AI/IA. The future is going to be incredible. Exponential progress.
For a long time I was almost completely cynical. Then something happened and now my optimism is boundless. Except regarding congress. And anywhere republicans are in power.

You want to smoke and talk about how fucking amazing and/or fucked up everything is.
Or you're just interested in people.
