My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a genuinely nice guy. I'm loyal to friends, polite to strangers, and have a great relationship with my family. I'm also very easygoing.

My sense of humor can be described as dorky, random, and dorktastic. I used to describe it as "dorkalicious" but stopped when people started asking me for recipes.

I'm a very logical person, and I'm not very impulsive.

I'm more indoorsy than outdoorsy, although a good walk/hike/swim is definitely enjoyable. I sing and play guitar. I enjoy trivia, going to concerts, and trying foods at charming little holes-in-the-wall.

I do love watching sports, especially hockey. If that's not your cup of tea, I also love bubble tea. If that's not your cup of tea, then we can still hang out, but we should probably talk about something else besides cups of tea.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a biostatistician. I moved here for my job, and I love what I do.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-manufacturing lists
-maintaining a good relationship with my family
-mulling over decisions rather than making uneducated ones
-making sure everything on this list begins with the same letter
-meaningful conversations, including the listening part
-meaningless conversations that either crack a room up or make people find a new room
-many other things. But if they don't begin with an "m," you'll have to ask me about them.

I don't have a basket on my head anymore.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, The Who, Roxy Music, Yes, (early) Genesis, Jethro Tull, Nick Drake, Steely Dan, The Smiths, R.E.M., XTC, Radiohead, The Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Elbow, Doves, Fleet Foxes, Death Cab for Cutie, Spoon, Shearwater, Mew, Blonde Redhead, Elliott Smith, Owen Pallett, etc.

Food: Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Korean, Philippine... I like a variety, but safe to say that I have a favorite continent when it comes to foodstuffs.

Books: Invisible Man, To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch-22, Brave New World, 1984. I'm very much open to recommendations.

Games (this list needs games!): I still have my SNES- Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, NHL 94, Super Mario Kart, Chrono Trigger, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, etc.! Big fan of Final Fantasy 6/7/8/9/10 as well. Non-video games: trivia games, Scrabble, Monopoly, Ticket to Ride.

Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, City of God, Star Wars/Lord of the Rings trilogies, Blazing Saddles, A History of the World Pt. 1, Spaceballs, Airplane!, Caddyshack, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Shows: The Big Bang Theory, Jeopardy!, sporting events. Way way way behind on good TV shows right now.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. The safety dance.
2. Five other things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
building a model to predict where I will be on any given Friday night. So far, it has predicted 100% of the time that I am building a model to predict where I will be on any given Friday night.

You're far more likely to find me at a board game night, ethnic restaurant, sporting event, a concert, or at home relaxing than at a loud bar, dance club, shopping mall/center, or doing something illegal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't like coffee. There, I said it. I like tea and I like the smell of coffee, so coffeehouses are fine by me. And I love bubble tea.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you are looking for friendship, a relationship, or a relationship based on friendship, and you think we might just get along. Or, you flipped a coin to determine whether or not to message me and it came up yes. Or, you flipped a coin/built a model to determine whether to message me and it came up no, but you're messaging me anyway because no coin is going to tell you what to do.
