I'm friendly, outgoing, with a sense of humor. I have a wide range of interests and love to travel. I'm known as anthemjudy, and I'll be curious to see if you can find me. It's my opinion that when a couple can visit for any length of time they stand a much better chance of being good friends . Someone capable of being your best friend is a very good start.

I'm a snowbird sharing my time between Portland, OR and Anthem, AZ. While in Portland I spend as much time with my three grown children as they have time for me. My time in Anthem is new to me, golfing, getting to know people in my bible study group, sharing good times with the gals in my "stitchnbitch" group (a non profit knitting group for charity) and just learning more about myself as an individual. You see, I was happily married for 37 years until my husband passed away four years ago.

If you also love the game of golf, people in general, and have a little bit of leeeway in your schedule to be able to spend some time in the northwest and southwest we could get off to a wonderful start.

I'm emotionally secure and understand that it is not as important to get what you want, as it is to want what you get.

I enjoy entertaining, giving dinner parties, family get-togethers and back yard barbeques.
I enjoy golfing and try to golf at least three times a week.
I love a good book.
I spend time with my friends and family, and always try to be there for them.

I'm not sure, probably my smile. I've been told that I smile a lot. I also love to socialize with a wide range of people.

I read myself to sleep every night so books are an important part of my life. While reading is important, my interests vary widely. I try to read a nonfiction to every fiction. They're all great for various reasons.
I haven't gone to the movies since I became a widow 4 years ago. When I did, my favorites were "girl flicks"; however, I enjoyed just about everything that wasn't too scary.
I used to listen to only jazz and soft rock until I started spending time in Arizona.
Now, I'm loving country.
Although I have some Swedish favorites, most food (if well prepared) is fine by me.

Life in general.
Being retired, I have too much time on my hands.

I enjoy visiting with golf buddies during happy hour at the clubhouse. The rest of the evening is spent with my little dog either watching TV or reading.

I had a wonderful marriage for 37 years before becoming a widow.
I have spent the last 4 years learning how to live life for myself and to find out who I really am.
I now know that I'm ready to move on and have a relationship again.
Maybe if we get to know each other, I'll share more.
