I recently graduated from college where I majored in finger-painting with a minor in economics.

I was born and raised in Seattle, went to school on the east coast and now I'm working in Palo Alto. My hobbies include taking long walks on the beach, blowing bubbles in the park and nursing sick baby seals back to health.

When I’m not saving baby seals, I enjoy being outdoors (hiking, biking…) and I’ll read anything I can get my hands on. Oh yeah, and I like to dance…and sing (kind of). I mean, I can’t really sing, but there are few things better than getting a huge group of friends together in order to drunkenly sing ‘90s/early 2000s songs at a karaoke bar. If you haven’t belted the lyrics to “Tearin’ up my heart” or “Larger than Life” in a drunken stupor, then you really haven’t lived

I plan to work for a few years and then I'll pursue graduate study (a joint MBA - MA [international relations] program).

But at the moment, I'm the operations manager at a digital media consulting startup that specializes in wine/craft beer. I get a lot of questions about this, so I'll clarify a few things...

Yes, I like wine/craft beer. And...yes, attending wine/beer tastings across the country is one of the things that I get paid to do. And...yes, during the summer I managed to organize a series of private wine tastings in the Santa Cruz mountains for me and my friends.
