My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
UPDATE 27th JULY 2015: Moving to Galveston shortly (A month or two depending on paperwork for the new job).

I have a PhD in a quantitative field, and do scientific research in systems biology.

I like learning and am an avid student of neuroscience, philosophy, and astrophysics. I also like swimming, yoga, weight training, cardio, tennis, and other physical activities. I am hoping to add hiking/trekking to my physical activities list. I also enjoy banter with friends and family, and debating politics, philosophy, art, sports, etc.

Who am I looking for? Someone who is balanced. If you ponder the deep questions of existence, and still manage to remain lighthearted, we'll be a good fit. Also, if you love animals, especially the wild ones.

"Your task is not to foresee the future, but to enable it."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical Friday night for me. I am happy to mingle with friends, or nerd out at home, or go people watch at a mall, or sit and read a book.
