I am break loose, disquieted, and foolish.

My Self-Summary

I once day dreamed about living in the bathroom, I thought about making a bunk bed above the tub and loved the convenience of a sink and toilet. It's such a comfortable, low key, quaint space that always reminds me of cleanliness and satisfaction. It occurred to me recently that it's also most conducive to rocking out, as the acoustics surpass any other place in your everyday conventional home.

What I’m doing with my life

Searching for the intricate series of secret tunnels that connect Toronto's libraries so I could spend my nights snuggled amongst great literature, a pillow of fiction, and a blanket of textbooks.

I’m really good at

Reading, lol. Making mixed cd's. Not eating animals. Cooking soups. Collecting useless items.

The first things people usually notice about me

I think you might have to ask 'the people'.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a)The boy Detective Fails by Jay Meno, Shelf Monkeyby Corey Redekop, All Families Are Psychotic by Douglas Coupland, An invisible Sign of My Own (and all and any of her short stories) by Aimee Bender, and a little book nobody's ever heard of called Glue for Breakfast and Other Stories by a man named Vern Smith--that was probably the best bargain bin buy I've ever come across, set in Toronto back in the day when 5 bucks was an allowable spending limit for the evening. I'm also habitually reading YA fantasy/scifi. If I was a keener for having babies I'd like to clone Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman and raise them all over again.

In comics, the Kabuki series by David Mack (I've never seen anything more beautiful than these books). The Runaways series, How Loathsome by Ted Naifeh and Tristan Crane, Buffy Season 8, and most of the stuff done by Brian Wood.

When I'm not saturating my brain with fiction I enjoy my 3rd wave feminist collections, fun little arts and crafts know-hows, activist potential manuals, and vegan cookbooks.

b)Weirdsville, The Harry Potter flicks, The Science of Sleep, Reality Bites, High Art, Trainspotting, Everything is Illuminated, But I'm a Cheerleader, Pretty in Pink, Heathers, Lucky Number Slevin, Dr. Horribles sing along blog, Amelie

b.2) TV: Legend of the Seeker, Forever Knight, Big Bang Theory, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Star Trek TNG, Heroes, Supernatural, Dexter,

c)wolf parade, modest mouse, pintandwefall, le tigre, Surfjan Stevens, the blow, hi lo trons, the fashion, arrah and the ferns, buck 65, final fantasy, draco and the malfoys, the ministry of magic, the bicycles, the dears, cat power, big cyc, kazik, the gossip, scream club, kult, the butchies, adult., sleater kinney, buddy holly, joan jett, julie ruin, mos def, regina spector, the cliks, new kids on the block, roxette, rilo kiley, salt n peppa,

d) Vegan goodies. Baby tomatoes, avocado maki, SOUP (!!!), salads, hummus...

The six things I could never do without

1.Books/Comics/Libraries. 2.Soup 3.My roommates cat 4.Portable internet browsing in public (instant Wikipedia answers for any alcohol induced questions or debates) 5.Showers 6.Buttons

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Buttons--the sort that go on coats, books, publishing, small press books, indie art, comics, graphic novels, food, feminism, Queerness, personal is political, veganism, buddhism, gender-bending, social construction theory, fantasy as presented on screen and in literature, writing, craftiness as art, diy, ...

On a typical Friday night I am

Reading comics in bed.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have a major tv crush on Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheldon_Cooper

Other than that dating is really not my scene, but friends are pretty neat.

You should message me if

You probably shouldn't, no seriously.
