My self-summary
We do have some things in common, but chances are, I didn't put them in my profile. Who cares? Either you'll like me or not, and either is fine. I have plenty of friends and people who adore me, and I'm probably conceited. I'm awesome, so I should be!

I've published a book and had my tibia shattered by a car (it's fine now), so you could easily say that I've had some life experience. Go and "like" my book here. I tend to be a diction-waver, but who wouldn't be? Also--being a writer doesn't make me suicidal, broke or angry. Don't believe everything you hear. I am, however, a man who likes to live comfortably and have nice things.

Some friends have told me they've never seen me angry. I've also been told that I have a tendency to call people on their bullshit, and it's very much something people either love or hate about me. Whatever the case, I am very rational and stable, but also extremely analytical.

I tend to value my alone time, but I also value time spent with my friends and family, and I know people from all walks of life with whom I get along. I believe you can learn something from everyone, whether they're intending to teach you or not.

I'm not a workaholic, but I have a direction in life. I make more than 2x minimum wage, but I do my 40 hours and then relax and live my life.

I know a LOT of women on here are all about traveling. I do want to travel, though I haven't done much of it yet. I'd like to see Greece, Italy and Australia for starters...
What I’m doing with my life
Saving up and working on publishing my next great American novel. Working on a dozen random creative projects. Being there for friends, saving money, having fun.
I’m really good at
Writing, solving problems, organizing things and doing impressions. Also being reliable and being there when people need me.
The first things people usually notice about me
That's an excellent question. Probably that I (literally) don't drag my feet. Or that I say things people don't expect, because I speak my mind and I'm impossible to label.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A lot of everything. My tastes are pretty diverse, yet somehow I still manage to be picky. If I made a list, it might wind up looking like we have "nothing in common". So there will be no lists on this profile!
The six things I could never do without
Hard to say, really. Ask me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Hey, what can I say? My brain never stops. Sometimes it's a story, sometimes it's a joke, sometimes it's deep and philosophical.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, with my friends or at home cleaning, watching a movie or working on something I think is interesting.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating
You should message me if
If you haven't done something super outlandish to get noticed and then listed it as the first thing people notice about you, i.e. a tattoo or a wacky hair color. That doesn't tell me anything about who you are.

If you don't claim that you're on here at the behest of a friend or that you can't believe you're here, or you feel like a loser for doing online dating, etc. By extension, you're making a similar claim about the guys you're talking to.

If you can keep up your end of a conversation.

If you've got a sense of humor, you're not pretentious and you're open-minded.

That's all.

It would be a spectacular bonus if you know the difference between "cavalry" and "Calvary", and if you don't call "alzheimers" something like "old-timers"...and if you know that it's "Commander-in-Chief", NOT "Commander and Chief".
