My self-summary
I tend to stay home a lot these days, usually opting for online communication than going out to clubs and bars. The whole thing is just a mess of loud that i never fully clicked with. I sort of live on my laptop when I'm not spending time with my friends and family, crafting, baking, and D&Ding. The recent game of choice admittedly has been Pathfinder, which is interesting after so long of playing other systems.
After finally finishing my Associates, I'm hoping I can get myself on the job market properly since it seems like I'm going to need more cash to finish that big degree I want.
What I’m doing with my life
Getting my act together and taking it on the road! Hopefully. Stuff costs money though, in case you missed that tiny little fact of life.
I’m really good at
Rambling. Editing other people's ramblings. I'm sort of good at baking and sewing, you know, basic homey functions. Honestly, not enough people I've encountered know how to sew. I also play D&D and various games of that sort, very occasionally play PC and video games, mostly because I'm not especially great at those things. The games, that is, I'm pretty solid with the tabletop stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
The hair, the glasses, my nervous laughter, maybe? Personally, I imagine that people notice the scar on my lip, but to be fair no one mentions it so I think that's most in my head.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like a lot of things, so this tends to get bogged down. Harry Potter is probably still on top. I enjoy Orson Scott Card's Ender saga. I love romance novels and see nothing wrong with the genre. Why dog on the people that keep the book market moving? I really like picking up young adult books because they're universally written most of the time. I'm big on short stories though, so I devour collections regularly. I still have a large spot on my shelves for fantasy and sci-fi books, of course, but a lot of those are a little older. Anne McCaffrey, Elizabeth Moon, Harlon Ellison, Neil Gaiman, Isaac Asimov, George R.R. Martin, just naming a few.

I've been steadily getting invested in comics again. On top of The Walking Dead and various other bits, I've been diving back through a lot of Batman and Bat Family titles. As much as DC has gotten off with the reboot, Batwoman is still a spectacular title. Also webcomics! There's honestly too many to list and I'm so behind on all of then besides Dresden Codak.

I watch what I catch mostly. I love anything horror based! I love the 80's slashers, Hitchcock, Japanese horror, but I am woefully under educated on the old classic movies. Then there's everything else. Game of Thrones, True Blood, Bunheads, Community, Mystic Pizza, Veronica Mars, Happy Endings, Parks and Rec, Avatar: The Legend of Korra, Adventure Time, Cowboy Bebop, Fried Green Tomatoes, Little Women, Star Wars, Star Trek, I'm just trying to give some sort of sampling here!

I like a lot of food too. I like baking, so that's not good! Basically anything, I'm not that into German food, but besides that there's just a lot out there I haven't tried. Let's be real though, I'll always default back to calling pizza my favorite food.
The six things I could never do without
Books. Internet. Family & friends (that's one!). Music. Scarves. Peanut butter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Books, writing, what should I write, has tumblr updated, should I check my mail again, I need a job, are classes open yet, are commercials done, where did I put my ipod, am I hungry or just thirsty, should I just grab a snack, maybe I should go for a walk, wait, did I check my email?

It's a mess up there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Online. Or out with my friends. While checking my internet. I'm pretty realistic with my thoughts here, people. Oh, or just flat out sleeping, I watch my nephew on Saturdays and Fridays, and he's a handful.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm scared to death that I'm messing up my own life and will die alone? Hahaha, just kidding. Probably that I know more about anime, comics, and Harry Potter than some people may be led to think.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 21–35
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I like chatting with people online. I love long messages that actually start a discussion or spark my interest. Talk about books or comics, ask me questions.

Don't message me to ask me to look at your profile. I'm being honest here; If you have to ask then I'm not going to do it most likely.

Here's what I'd like out of this website. I'd like friends, maybe it could be more, maybe not, but I'd like someone who likes talking online and who I can chat with casually about things we both like or talk about our day (mine was dull, how about yours?) or anything. I just want low pressure interations and socializing.

I hate just messaging and saying "hi, I like your profile" because what does that say? Why? Who are you even? Man, I shouldn't edit this thing after 1am.
