My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a writer. Which translates to fitfull, tired, quiet, poor, and introverted. I'm positive that there's writers who are the exact opposite, but I am not those people. I start this with that statement because it's a new statement for me and one that I'm standing by. Also, no, you can't find anything of mine published yet.
If you're still reading, I'm generally nice and chill, I will laugh at your bad jokes usually, or at the very least make a pained expression that will likely give you some amusement. I am a feminist, but if you message me anything inflammatory about it, you're getting blocked so fast.
Currently, I'm working as a merchandiser for plants at a few local stores and I'll be scaring people this fall at a place that actually pays me to do it! Living the dream.
I've lived in the same place all my life, and honestly, that's no good. I need to get out and away, I know exactly what the dating pool here is like.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. Right now, I'm set up for my fall job as a scare actor. Come spring, I'll be back to merchandising, given my luck. And between or all, I'm still trying to put pen to paper. Or finger to key?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Rambling. Editing other people's ramblings. I'm sort of good at baking and sewing, you know, basic homey functions. Honestly, not enough people I've encountered know how to sew. I also play D&D and various games of that sort, very occasionally play PC and video games, mostly because I'm not especially great at those things. The games, that is, I'm pretty solid with the tabletop stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The hair, the glasses, my nervous laughter, maybe?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like a lot of things, so this tends to get bogged down. Harry Potter is probably still on top. I enjoy Orson Scott Card's Ender saga. I love romance novels and see nothing wrong with the genre. Why dog on the people that keep the book market moving? I really like picking up young adult books because they're universally written most of the time. I'm big on short stories though, so I devour collections regularly. I still have a large spot on my shelves for fantasy and sci-fi books, of course, but a lot of those are a little older. Anne McCaffrey, Elizabeth Moon, Harlon Ellison, Neil Gaiman, Isaac Asimov, George R.R. Martin, just naming a few.

I've been steadily getting invested in comics again. On top of The Walking Dead and various other bits, I've been diving back through a lot of Batman and Bat Family titles. As much as DC has gotten off with the reboot, Batwoman is still a spectacular title. Also webcomics! There's honestly too many to list and I'm so behind on all of then besides Dresden Codak.

I watch what I catch mostly. I love anything horror based! I love the 80's slashers, Hitchcock, Japanese horror, but I am woefully under educated on the old classic movies. Then there's everything else. Game of Thrones, True Blood, Bunheads, Community, Mystic Pizza, Veronica Mars, Happy Endings, Parks and Rec, Avatar: The Legend of Korra, Adventure Time, Cowboy Bebop, Fried Green Tomatoes, Little Women, Star Wars, Star Trek, I'm just trying to give some sort of sampling here!

I like a lot of food too. I like baking, so that's not good! Basically anything, I'm not that into German food, but besides that there's just a lot out there I haven't tried. Let's be real though, I'll always default back to calling pizza my favorite food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books. Internet. Family & friends (that's one!). Music. Scarves. Peanut butter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Books, writing, what should I write, has tumblr updated, should I check my mail again, I need a job, are classes open yet, are commercials done, where did I put my ipod, am I hungry or just thirsty, should I just grab a snack, maybe I should go for a walk, wait, did I check my email?

It's a mess up there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Online. Or out with my friends. While checking my internet. I'm pretty realistic with my thoughts here, people. Oh, or just flat out sleeping, I watch my nephew on Saturdays and Fridays, and he's a handful.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm scared to death that I'm messing up my own life and will die alone? Hahaha, just kidding.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I like chatting with people online. I love long messages that actually start a discussion or spark my interest. Talk about books or comics, ask me questions.

Don't message me to ask me to look at your profile. I'm being honest here; If you have to ask then I'm not going to do it most likely. If you message me with a stock response, I'm really not going to answer.

Here's what I'd like out of this website. I'd like friends, maybe it could be more, maybe not, but I'd like someone who likes talking online and who I can chat with casually about things we both like or talk about our day (mine was dull, how about yours?) or anything. I just want low pressure interactions and socializing.

And don't message me just to say how cute I am. Doesn't matter how cute I may or may not be, it's creepy and boring.
