My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My life is mostly in a good shape. I have my own apartment and most everything I need. Not too much, not too little. I have a good and interesting job that pays the bills.

I'm emphatic. I always consider how other people feel, even to the point that's not always good for myself. I try to do the "right thing". But I also know my own self-value. I'm also honest, dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.

I can make an intelligent conversation on most topics. I would consider myself smart. I'm also fluent in sarcasm and ironic. I tend to give a disclaimer on the worst bits though.

I have some unusual habits for my age. I like playing computer games. No, I'm not WoW addict, I play games for the stories. Games like Mass Effect and Planescape: Torment. I have a PS3 and Xbox360 too, but I only have one game for each.

I sometimes play music much louder than I really should. It's not too bad for the neighbour though, because I don't use my subwoofer with music. I play rock and metal. I'm a bit bald for a metalhead, but so is Robert Halford. I have a pretty good collection of band shirts and I still use them. I'm the guy in the In Flames shirt between the suits in the company elevator. But I will dress up totally civilized when the situation calls for it.

I'm a nerd. I live with four computers. I just recently got rid of one, but I swear these damn things multiply in the dark hours when I'm not watching. I don't have a nerdy posture, but I have glasses! They're not thick though, and my life doesn't depend on any machine. Even if I like to spend time at my computers, I also like to leave them to go anywhere from theatre to a metal gig.

I exercise for enjoyment and to keep me in shape. I'm getting into a comfortable five times a week rhythm. I still wouldn't describe me as sporty. My choice of activities is a bit limited because of my bad knee. I mostly do rowing, because it's good for my shoulders.

I like to watch movies all the way to the early hours. The only bad thing about the early hours is that I can't use my subwoofer, which I do use for movies. I'm mostly into scifi, fantasy, and horror, but any movie with a good idea can be great. Like Forrest Gump.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm not exactly sure how this part differs from the one above. But I should probably tell that I really enjoy my work. It's challenging and fulfilling.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Algorithms and programming. Analytical thinking. (Over)analysing things.

Telling what went wrong after the fact. But I'm trying to get better at telling what will go wrong beforehand.

Useless trivia, like remembering lyrics by heart. I'm trying to learn One Rode to Asa Bay.

Understanding other people's views and sympathizing with them.

A metal band shirt when I'm wearing one. I like my In Flames "Star Wars" shirt.

A girl once said my eyes are exceptionally bright blue.

But in practice, it's probably just my bald. Damn it.

I enjoy fantasy and scifi as games, books, and movies. Some titles are: Dark City, City of Ember, Mass Effect, Planescape: Torment, Knights of the Old Republic (and Star Wars in general), Kingdom of Heaven, Crow, the new Battlestar Galactica, Fight Club, The Butterfly Effect, Song of Ice and Fire, and The Lord of the Rings. Ok, they're not all fantasy of scifi, but I like them anyway.

As for music I like both Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. Well actually, I haven't listened to Knopfler's solo stuff. I'm more into rock and metal, all the way from Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin, via Iron Maiden and Helloween, to In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, and Disturbed. And of course Viikate.

In addition to rock and metal, I can listen to and enjoy most kinds of music. The Watchmen soundtrack is perhaps the best one ever.

A good steak is always good. Kebab is better than pizza. Burgers and kebab are equally good.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A Kinesis Freestyle 2 keyboard and a Razer mouse (Mamba), because I'm too used to them.
A toothbrush, because I want to keep my teeth in a good shape.
My favourite music, because... it's music.
My glasses, even though I see without them.
Good books, because sometimes I need to escape.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to scale algorithms in a multiple CPU environment. And grammar, for some totally unknown reason.

How to take over the world. And how to make it better before taking it over.

Other people.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sometimes listen to Lady Gaga?
