My name is Laura. I like to golf, drink, play pool, darts, shuffleboard, watch movies, be lazy, and try new things. I've led a very sheltered childhood, born and raised in Nebraska. Other than that, my parents are still together, and I had a normal childhood. (If there is such a thing) Music is a big part of my life, it can change any mood I'm in at any moment in time!! I definately got that from my dad!
Laughing is my favorite past time. If you can keep me laughing chances are I'd try to talk to you more often than not. My sense of humor is very eccletic and I laugh at some of the dumbest things sometimes. The more tired I am the more I laugh. Laughing is contagious and it always makes people feel better.
I work a lot since I have a full and part time job. My full time job is at a nursing home (in the kitchen) and my part time job is calling and asking people if they want to take surveys. Right now I'm just working on getting some money for the future. Looking to figure out my next move. I plan on eventually going back to college but I have yet to decide what I want to be when I grow up. Hopefully I'll never grow up cuz the thought of that is kind of scary.

I was figuring out what exactly is a want and need and I'm pretty sure I have all that down now!! lol I have proved to myself that I can live without a phone and its kinda nice but now that I have it back I can't stop using it!!

I'm really good at being sarcastic and drinking...lol I don't really think drinking is a skill but I'm not really good at much!! lol I don't really get a chance to drink very much anymore so that's pry a skill that's fading!! lol

Maybe the fact that I'm kind of short, my eyes, idk, you'll have to tell me if you ever meet me. Most of the time when I meet people face to face they think I'm mean simply because I'm not afraid to speak my mind. Its mostly a defense mechanism but sometimes I just don't get along with people. I'm a realist and sometimes it just doesn't work.

Favorite books is hard considering I'm not much of a reader. A few of the books I have read and I really liked are The Five People You Meet in Heaven, When the Elephants Dance, and the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Favorite movies is basically anything funny or comedy. Some of those include Tommy Boy, Big Daddy, Crash, The Inside Man, Selena, Love and Basketball, Talledega Nights: The Story of Ricky Bobby, Breach, Old School, Elf, Superbad, The Other Sister, Schindler's List, Little Monsters, that's just a few of the many...

Favorite music is hard to describe. I listen to just about anything, I have my phases of hard rock, metal, pop, punk, rap, just about anything. Favorites would be Rascal Flatts, Buckcherry, Eminem, Queen, Paula Abdul, Bangles, Selena, Blue October, Metallica, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mest, AC/DC, Kutless, Pillar, Lil Wayne, No Doubt, Anberlin, pretty much varied. If you have any suggestions of something I need to add just let me know.

Favorite food would be hispanic foods, chinese, good old american foods, I'm not that picky!! Tamales, Cheeseburgers, enchiladas, tacos, french fries, some fruits, just whatever!!

How to fix life's problems. For me currently, it'd be financial things due to the fact that I was unemployed for 4 months. Other than that it would be family, friends, and the next free time between working!! I have a lot of time to think in my part time job. Its really boring!!

Currently at home. Before, I always was out just hanging out with friends whether I was drinking or not. I like to be out on the town doing something but that doesn't always happen. I'm not much of a home body. I get the clostrophobic feeling after a while.

I don't know if I have anything that's too private. I'm a pretty open and honest person when it comes to everything. I don't lie. So I guess if you want to ask me something go ahead!!

You can make me laugh or if you are remotely interested. It never hurts to try and the worst thing that could happen is either one of us getting rejected by the other. That's not even that bad!!
