I understand why most people have trouble here, me being one of them. I'm an outgoing, goal-oriented, smart (I guess nerdy) guy. I'm originally from Colorado, but I have lived a few other places as well. I spend as much time as I can outdoors: skiing/snowboarding, running, ultimate frisbee, golf, and fishing. I also swim regularly and lift weights as well. I think it's important to exercise, so I try to stay in great shape. As far as my field, I have an engineering degree and I am good math. I enjoy programming, but sometimes get frustrated with it. I also like to travel and love to have the amazing (maybe not so much at the beginning) feeling of culture shock. Other than that, I try to enjoy each day and I am always open to making new friends or meeting a potential match.

I recently moved to the bay area to begin graduate school. I just try to take each day at a time and enjoy it whether it is rain or shine.

Swimming, skiing, math. I am getting pretty good at cooking these days too. I'm decent at swing dancing.

I really like historical fiction but I read a variety of different things. I like most books by Jared Diamond, Phillip Roth and Michael Crichton and the classics such as The Picture of Dorian Gray or All Quiet on the Western Front. Toni Morrison is good too. I wish I had more time to read, but during the school year the textbooks and research articles seem to consume the reading time. I usually don't talk about politics, but I like to read about it because the political system is pretty dynamic.

Music: Nickelback, The Fray, Plain White T's, Michael Jackson, 3OH!3, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Radiohead, Guru Josh Project, The Click Five, Beatles, The Kooks, Jason Mraz, Lady Gaga, Rihanna...to name a few.

I'm pretty open to all types of food. I really like Thai and Italian food though. Wine is a weakness for me. It is hard to turn down a good glass, especially if it is a cab franc or sauvignon. Beer wise, a good pale ale or IPA is great.

The future. I guess most people think about the future. I think about where I want to see myself in five or ten years and what I want to accomplish. I also like to think about the life in general. Everything is so unpredictable, unforeseen, and uncertain.

More often than not I'm out with friends and going to a party. Sometimes though, I'm watching a movie, working out, or reading.
