I am funny, nice, and available.
My Self-Summary
Hobbies - I've played tennis off and on for the last 15 years. I'm
not a pro by any measure, but I definitely enjoy playing with
people of my own skill level, not that I'm saying that's a
prerequisite, because it can be very difficult to find someone of
your own skill level in tennis, no matter how good or bad you
are.
I guess what makes me unique from all the other guys out there is
that I am a genuinely nice guy. I'm not the kind of guy who tries
to get with a lot of girls, or gets tired of a girl after dating
her for a month or two. Lately, it's really surprised me how many
guys are like that, and it's made me proud to say that I am not
among their number. I'm the kind of guy who truly cares about how
my significant other is feeling, and I try my best to always keep
her happy.
What I’m doing with my life
Goals/aspirations - I am currently a student at Chico State, with
two semesters left until I graduate with a BA in Liberal Studies.
After that, I plan on going into the credential program to become a
multiple subject elementary teacher.
I’m really good at
Tennis, useless trivia, and math for some reason.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and/or my big dumb smile.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books - I just read "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, and I really
enjoyed it.
Movies - I enjoy all sorts of movies. In fact, I'm a total movie
dork. I watch and own an embarrassingly large amount of movies. I
guess it's the sense of escape. I like movies new or old, good or
bad. And there's nothing I like more than cuddling up with a
special someone and sharing the experience of watching a good
movie.
The six things I could never do without
good question. I guess I could be completely facetious and just go
down the list of Maslowe's Hierarchy of Needs, but I think there
would be one extra. Anyway, in the true spirit of the
question...
1. my computer (it facilitates many things, such as music, movies,
and communication with friends and the outside world)
2. a job (I was unemployed briefly at the beginning of this year.
no bueno.)
3. a car (again, with the facilitating)
4. my friends (sure, I wish I had more in Chico)
5. out of ideas.....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
metacognition, and how to eschew obfuscation.
On a typical Friday night I am
working. sad, I know, but I gotta feed the monkey.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I sometimes sleep naked.
You should message me if
You are looking for a long term relationship with a guy that is
looking for the same. Also, if you think we would be compatible,
based on my profile.
