My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like taking stock of the simple pleasures: sunlight warming my skin, a great song stuck in my head or popping up unexpectedly on my iPod, hanging out with the people I love . . . the cloud milk makes in my morning (and afternoon) coffee . . . mixing paint colors to find a wholly new shade of purple or green. .

I'm a curious soul - I like to listen and learn about just about everything my eyes touch. I love ancient history, art, unusual architecture, social science, hard science, the paranormal, animal nature, plant life, alternative healing practices, cooking, live music, how things work, arts & crafts, tropical storms, and the universe. Oh and of course beautiful women! :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Figuring out what works and what doesn't, why (if it matters), and how to move forward.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Picking out presents
People watching
Keeping an open mind
Noticing the little sweet and/or weird details of life
Finding shapes in clouds
The first things people usually notice about me

How tiny I am, and how young I look...

hey, inside I'm tall. And suuuuuper old. ;)

Books:
Lately I've been reading nonfiction, about history, gay rights, cultural resource management or alternative healing practices. In fact, I have all four in my (big heavy) purse right now! I also like historical fiction, and will usually pick up books by Kurt Vonnegut, Michelle Moran, Oscar Wilde, Yukio Mishima, Jose Saramago, & James Michener if they are around.

Movies:
Run Lola Run, Dolls, Velvet Goldmine, Amelie, The Science of Sleep, I heart Huckabees, The Princess Bride, Death Becomes Her, Moulin Rouge, The Fifth Element, Return to Oz, The Craft, Clue, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, 12 Monkeys, Matilda, The Worst Witch, The Client, Hocus Pocus, I Love You Phillip Morris, The World Unseen

Shows:
Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist, Rocky & Bullwinkle, The Simpsons, and Monty Python's Flying Circus were my favorites growing up, and definitely shaped my adult sense of humor.
Presently, I am a fan of many shows, in no particular order: Arrested Development, Venture Bros., Louie, The Soup, True Blood, South of Nowhere, Peep Show, Archer, Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation

Music:
Radiohead, Air, Portishead, Of Montreal, Mum, Django, Serge Gainsbourg, Ladytron, Philip Glass, Stereolab, Flying Lotus, Nada Surf, Metric

Food:
Increasingly vegan, but I won't say no to a lovely filet mignon if I want it. I'm trying to be much more conscious of what I am putting in my body... Trying to maintain a no wheat/gluten/dairy/refined sugar diet with varying levels of success. Though honestly, as long as an avocado is involved, I'm delighted. :)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have had daily headaches & chronic migraines for the past 2 years now. I'm actively trying to figure out the wherefores of my condition, and continuously trying new Western and Eastern and Alternative healing techniques/practices/treatments, herbs/supplements, etc that may help.
The silver lining I've found with this unfortunate circumstance is that I've learned a lot about medicial practices I'd never heard of before, and will continue to :)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to :)
If you won't get irritated or personally offended if I lag on responding right away.
If you are willing to meet up in real life (that's why we're here, yes?) - let's go get a beer or tea, go to a museum, or go for a walk/hike!
I am in a monogamous relationship with my amazingly wonderful girlfriend (In fact I met her through this very website! It works, friends! Keep the hope alive ;D)
That said, I would love to have more gay ladies in my life. No pressure: just fun and friendship!
