My Self-Summary

I am a fun, intelligent, easy going person who is interested in dating and possible LTR. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I am a graduate of the UW and am working to make a career in screen play writing. I have many interests and am always looking for a new, exciting adventure. Being a sagittarius that is only natural ;-) I am looking for someone who is a good communicator; someone who can listen as well as talk. I love the back and forth dynamic of a great conversation and am looking for someone with similar tastes. I'm not into "the scene", but do enjoy a fun night out on the town :-D I also really enjoy quiet nights indoors watching movies, GOOD tv and cuddling. I love watching sports on tv, listening to rock music, and studying spiritual philosophy. I am an active volunteer at a queer youth center in Seattle called Lambert House.

What I’m doing with my life

Since I graduated from UW, I've been writing and trying to get my foot in the door of the screen writing business. Suffice to say, it's been a little difficult, often times frustrating. But there is a glimmer of hope at the moment :-) If you are interested in what that might be feel free to ask since it is a long and on-going story. To pay the bills, I am a manager at Walgreens and have been working there since college.

I’m really good at

Listening and being a supportive friend. I have a very interesting and strong intuition which allows me to have a considerable amount of empathy. I believe that everyone has intuition on some level, some more than others. I have been doing tarot readings for several years now and really enjoy it.
I'm also really good at drinking with the best of them ;-) It's been more of an educational-experiential process lol If you like Bombay Sapphire gin, there's a strong possibility you and I will get along fine ;-)

The first things people usually notice about me

People have told me that they feel very comfortable around me just upon first meeting. I think that comes from me being really accepting of who people are and what they're all about. I like being able to feel free to just be myself, no matter where I'm at or who I'm with so I try to extend that energy to others.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I really love Kurt Vonnegut. I also can't get enough of medeval history.
I'm sort of a movie "snob" lol, and won't watch just anything. Drama-Thrillers are typically my favorite, but I really enjoy smart comedies, too.
My music tastes are just all over the place; better to just ask me ;-)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Jake Gyllenhaal, natural disasters, cheese, the seattle mariners offense, tater tots, North Korea, having sweaty sex to The Crystal Method (band), cheap appetizers at Stanfords, how fucked up it is that Michael Jackson is dead before he could make his comeback, karaoke (intoxicated or not), one day owning a goat, pineapple, what I would do with a million dollars, my next screen play

On a typical Friday night I am

At my volunteer gig at Lambert House till 9:30 then going down the street to CC's bar on Madison or going to Madison Pub with my volunteer buddies. Or going home and collapsing from exhaustion since I work early in the morning and then go volunteer right after work.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't wear my emotions on my sleeve. I've been told I can be really hard to read.
