Fair warning, I'm an architect, so, stopping mid sentence while walking on the street, to look at a random corner detail of an interesting building, may occur. I also have an interest in how things are made, therefore, furniture shopping with me means a lot of looking under tables and flipping over chairs.
I own my own firm, which is definitely rewarding (and a headache at the same time). I love the independence it offers me, as well as the ability to take off work, to travel this amazingly interesting and diverse planet of ours, with all of its amazing cultures. Thankfully I've gotten to a point in my career where I can now turn down clients that don't necessarily share my point of view on design, conservation, or are just plain grouchy and annoying so I am getting more satisfaction out of my work than ever before.
I'm close to my family, and I include my friends in that, because lets face it, if you've been friends with somebody for over a certain amount of time, they are family.
I am a glass is half full kinda guy, and I always try to be positive in all aspects of my life.
I love the color orange (yet, other than the oranges currently in my fruit bowl, there isn't really that much orange around my house, go figure), hate tomatoes...seriously...with a passion, love to make things with my hands from drawings to sculpture, dislike negative people, love working on my house, hate the fact that ever since I finished college I've somehow become a morning person (not that I got sleep in college), love the outdoors and everything to do with outside activities. Love golf even though I secretly think its a sport for old people and I'm an embarrassing site on the green. The list goes on...
Now that I'm through with the extremely egotistical part of the description box, I'm easy to talk to so if you want to get to know me better let me know, and maybe we'll grab a cup of coffee and a few laughs.
