I recently finished my teaching credentials for music and am working on finding work as a full-time music teacher. Unfortunately, in this economic climate I am finding that to be more difficult than I thought it would be when I was working on my B.A.
I know it's pretty fashionable to say you're a nerd nowadays but I think my many comic books speak for themselves. 'nuff said, excelsior and all of that.

Volunteering with an after school orchestra, playing guitar, reading, trying not to suck at the violin, making sure I am prepared when opportunity comes my way.

Growing a beard. I don't have one now but could easily whip one up for you in about an hour.
I'm so good at dancing badly I could probably teach a class.

Books: China Mieville, Lord of the Rings, the Once and Future King, Ray Bradbury, Steinbeck, Christopher Moore, Neil Gaiman, Y: The Last Man. Hellboy, Watchmen, the Unwriiten, Hellblazer, the Walking Dead. So many others I can't think of right now.
Movies/TV: Unforgiven, the Good the Bad and the Ugly, Ghostbusters, Dr. Strangelove, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Iron Giant, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Dr. Who, Venture Bros., 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Archer.
Music: LED ZEPPELIN, Pink Floyd Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Radiohead, Neko Case, Mingus, Wilco, Django Reinhardt, Hendrix, Beatles, The Stones, Coltrane etc, etc, etc.
Food: Pizza, chocolate, (If I thought living on pizza and chocolate alone was a viable option I would.)cheeseburgers, reuben sandwices, gyros, zankou chicken, burritos...so many things. I really enjoy food.

Right now it's starting a Book Lover's Brunch club. Man, that would be fun. We could drink mimosas and eat blintzes and talk about books. That would be the best. There's got to be a way to get this thing off the ground and not make it sound so gay. Maybe if it was also a fight club, or we did motocross afterwards? I don't know, I'll work it out.

Meeting with a cabal of industrial billionaires and practitioners of black magicks and esoteric rituals that make the very air around us crackle with malevolent energy, all for the purpose of concocting nefarious plots to force the universe to submit to our will.

Seriously though, I work on Fridays.

I keep the fingernails on my right hand long, but that's because I play classical guitar, the nails on my left hand are perfectly normal.

Also, I have an unhealthy love for Pat Benatar's Love is a Battlefield. It's a not so guilty pleasure. Holy crap do I love that video.
