Even though I am very busy, I still find time to do the things I
like and spend time with people I care about. I have an 11 year old
son who puts a smile on my face every day. Being his mom has made
me a better person, and taught me so much about patience, honesty,
and love.
I am often on the quiet side when I first meet people, so they might not realize that I have a good sense of humor. I am quick to warm up, especially if I feel a connection with the other person.
I love dancing, dark chocolate, enjoying a good cup of coffee paired with a great conversation, and trying new things. I am easy going and open minded. I try to see the glass half full, and live my life with gratitude.
I have very strong spiritual beliefs, but they are not grounded in organized religion. I meditate frequently, and enjoy doing yoga. I recently started running. Although I'm still very slow, I completed a few 5k runs. Hopefully next year I will move up to a 10k!
Current events (global, local, political) are important to me. I am liberal in my political views, and I believe very strongly in equality. I think I can have a civilized discussion on a topic even if I disagree with the other person. However, I don't think I would be able to be in a relationship with someone if our core political/ social views differed.
I am looking for someone who is good-natured and kindhearted. Someone with patience and tolerance, who is grateful for the blessings in his life. I enjoy being with people who have brains, humor and wit, self-confidence (not arrogance), integrity, and a positive outlook.
