My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love knowing why and how things work. Unfortunately this doesn't help much with people. Asking questions seems to help me figure that out, though.

I'm into all kinds of things: skiing, hiking, biking, road tripping, reading, and racing cars, to name a few. I'm generally willing to try something at least twice - Like snowboarding (the jury is still out on attempt #3). If you're up for teaching or being good company, I'm probably up for trying it out.

I'm also the go-to tech guru, but I'm just as happy to leave the screens behind and check out a mountain.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work full time, and I'm in school part-time for a BS degree (it sounds kinda funny when you put it that way, doesn't it?) in Information Systems Management & possibly a Physics minor (because physics is fun).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Typing without looking at the keyboard.
-Building fires.
-Driving in ice & snow.
-Not getting anywhere near enough sleep.
-Missing rather obvious subtleties / sarcasm.
-fixing everything - cars, computers, tractors, dump trucks, "the internet", etc.
-Solving strange problems.
-Going off on tangents, and then being unable to remember how I got so off topic. Maybe this should be #1.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How deep my beautiful brown eyes are (that was a joke, by the way).
How "me" I am. that's what my friends tell me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Clancy Novels, in the Heart of the Sea (most recent)
Batman Begins, the Matrix, Mozart, Daft Punk, ATB, Phillip Phillips.

The Euro-vision song contest. it's full of corny goodness, and is occasionally surprisingly good.

Food - I love trying new foods. Basically, I draw the line at brain matter and things that are still alive, and things that will keep living after I eat them (shudder). It has been pointed out to me that vegetables and bacteria (think yogurt) are alive: those are not the things I had in mind when mentioning not wanting to eat living things.
Really spicy food is good, too, on occasion.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water
Food
Air (yes, those were the first three that came to mind)
Something to read
The internet (or a large library)
Good friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Totally impractical things that I'd like to do. E.g. - replacing all of the fake syrup in the world with real maple syrup, learning to fly a helicopter, building a house with secret passageways, and so on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing whatever I want. Often chilling with friends for food/entertainment, seeing a movie, going for a bike ride, etc
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have watched all of Gilmore Girls.
