Really into Steinbeck right now. East of Eden was one of the best books I ever read. Some other authors I love are Proust, Salinger, Saffran-Foer, Herman Hesse, and Vonnegut.

Movies: Woody Allen, Charlie Chaplain, Polanski, Almodovar. Mostly into art films but can appreciate some mainstream ones too. Favorite actors are Daniel-Day Lewis and Marlen Brando.

Music: really diverse interest. Feist, Yo la Tengo, The Doors, Coltrane, D'Angelo, Hendrix. Most soul music from the 60's. Classical music: Brahms and Bach.
