My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
~ Fun fact: You may have seen me on Bay News 9 at the end of April or read my "I'm Sorry" letter that I wrote to my students regarding the FCAT that went viral online. Yep. I'm famous. *I'm charging five bucks for autographs... because I'm still a poor teacher.. hahaha*

~ Yes, I know I live in brooksville.. yes I know I'm way too cool for this town. Yes I know it's far, but it's not THAT far.. and I'm awesome. I also know that the chances of me meeting someone cool in this town is like 0%... hence me looking in other cities. :)

~ Any guy I am interested in has to be smart... and not just book smart.. someone who is well rounded and knows a lot about, well, a lot. lol

~ I'm a fantastic cook. Nothing fancy.. just plain good food.

~ I have no shame in admitting I have a total hair fetish. If a boy has a mop of curly hair it takes all my will power not to touch it. If possible, I will make an excuse to touch it. I love curly hair on boys that much. Yes, I know I'm weird. I embrace it. Curly hair is amazing.

~ I recently jumped on the Doctor Who bandwagon and have fallen in love with the show. Just add that to my high level of geekiness. You can add Sherlock to that as well.. hell.. basically anything from the BBC.

~ I have a serious love affair with the History Channel especially shows on religion and the ancient world... Greek Mythology specifically. The show Clash of the Gods? I could watch it all day.

~ I will totally judge you if you don't believe that gay marriage should be legalized. In fact, I will do more than judge you.. I will laugh at you and walk away.

~ I love HBO's shows.. Boardwalk Empire (oh jimmy!), True Blood (I'm team Alcide), Game of Thrones, Newsroom.. love 'em all. I love smart and funny TV

~ I looovvveeee the Walking Dead. I am constantly defending my "set them on fire" idea, but it keeps getting shot down. One day someone will see my genius in zombie killing.

~ I am pretty up to date on all things political.. I am a member of the Exec. board of our local teacher's union... so.. yeah.

~ I appear to be sunshine and rainbows and the very typical girl next door, but don't let it fool you.. I have stories that make grown men blush.

~ If I'm at home, I wear pjs pants and a tank top.. real clothes are for work...

~ I read.. a LOT. I have NEVER read a Nicholas Sparks book (too girls and cheesy). IF there isn't a vampire or some other mythological or magic character, I probably won't be interested.. I love Anne Rice, and Harry Potter and I've even read all the True Blood books.. I'm a nerd.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently a teacher
I should be a shrink.
I want to be a sexologist or a baker... either way.. I'd be helping people deal with issues.. through advice or chocolate ;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
cooking, listening, giving advice, making people laugh (seriously, I'm a funny bitch)

What I'm NOT good at: playing games, being non-emotional and putting up with bullshit
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That everyone around me is usually laughing... and that if there are a mixed group of ppl.. I'm the token girl standing and talking to all the guys. (actually it's my boobs, but the above mentioned is what I would hope they would notice).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite books of all time are: The Giving Tree and Memnoch the Devil (along with anything by Roald Dahl and Anne Rice). I am a total geek when it comes to Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson series.
My favorite movies: Moulin Rouge, Neverending Story, Secretary and Ponette. I do love the brat pack movies and documentaries as well.... especially ones about Religion and ancient history.

TV: Doctor Who, Sherlock, American Horror Story, Hell on Wheels, Copper, True Blood, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Big Bang Theory, and anything on the History Channel and Nat Geo channel or BBC.

Music: Joshua Radin, Josh Groban, Fiona Apple, George Michael, cheesy 90's pop, The Smiths, older Depeche Mode... anything that has good lyrics I'm a fan of...

Food: I love to cook and love to try out new things. I make a mean empanada and some really yummy coconut macaroons!! ;)
My co-workers are constantly asking when I'm going to bake again because they are my test kitchen! My latest creation was a brownie bite that had cream cheese frosting inside and was covered in chocolate. Totally decadent.. and were loved by all.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog. She rules.
2. My family (duh)
3. Music
4. Coke Zero... its my vice
5. New Orleans. It's my soul city.. (and no.. not for mardi gras)
6. books. Seriously.. I can't imagine not having a stack of books to read.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
work. I have a business idea, but can't decide if I'm ready to leave the classroom yet. I love teaching.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Relaxing after a long week. Most of my friends are married or have kids, so I don't go out like I used to! :(
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've read the Twilight books.....
