My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Having climbed a lot of steep hills, I would like to stop and survey the view with someone who knows how to smell the roses.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm building things, from companies to non-profits to rehabilitated furniture. But most of all, friendships.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Intellectually curious, I'm good at learning and figuring things out. I also know how to have fun and enjoy life. Time spent with me is rarely boring.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Adaptability. I know how to handle most any situation and can get along with most anyone.

Wow. Lists are really hard. Here are some partial lists of my favorite things:

Writers--Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Conrad, Montaigne, Twain, Orwell, Hemingway. Plato, Aristotle, Nietszche, Locke, Rousseau, de Tocqueville, Mill, Durkheim... Too many to name.

Composers & Musicians--Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Ravel, Brubeck, Coltrane, Hancock, Monk, Davis, Rolling Stones, Police, U2, Dave Matthews, and the list goes on and on...

Films--Pulp Fiction, Citizen Kane, Cinema Paradiso, Blade Runner, Godfather (I & II), Memento, Rashomon, La Dolce Vita, Casablanca...

TV shows--The Daily Show, Family Guy, GPS with Fareed Zakaria, NFL and soccer (Premiership, Seria A) games.

Cuisine--All kinds of food. I think only stinky tofu and durian are off the list.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Loved ones, good food, enriching experiences, books, art and romance.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about a lot of things. The real challenge (and reward) lies in turning off the thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It can vary widely, but I actually like to be a homebody and recharge that night.
