My self-summary
end of another long day, drinking whiskey in bed, listlessly navigating this chapter of my life.
What I’m doing with my life
just spent the past year living in Istanbul, justified by freelance graphic design stuff. originally from New Orleans, LA. full-time student in bummerville Boston, studying PR & Art History, and part-time waitress. I'm also a karaoke host at one of the strangest, diviest bars imaginable. just for fun and to sing Bonnie Raitt to unsuspecting audiences.

after I graduate I'm looking to work in the art world, ideally curating exhibitions and uncorking the wine at gallery openings. or grad school for political science. but I keep it goofy.

I have a lot of vivid dreams when I sleep. I like to cook and sew and read and spend all my money on craft beer and live music.
I’m really good at
getting people to open up and writing heartfelt letters on the back of postcards from foreign countries.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a firm handshake.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
reading One Hundred Years of Solitude right now.
(& usually a comic / graphic novel when I'm not abroad)

City of God & The Sound of Music rn.

House of Cards & High Maintenance rn.
(anything on Food Network or Discovery Channel is usually truu)

hip-hop / rocknroll / Johnny Cash / hair metal / puuuuuunk / feely female babes / smooth jazz / shit I can get mad to / New Orleans funk / rehashing my inner rude girl / summarizing my music taste is difficult cause I listen to everything from motown to math rock to Isao Tomita..

favorite food includes sushi, Southern creole everything, I think kale can go with anything, Turkish kahvalti, & I'll try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
headphones
nalgene
chapstick
podcasts
cozy socks
my bike
I spend a lot of time thinking about
when I'm gonna be able to get some sleep.
whichever frustrating aspect of our country's social and / or political situation is in the foreground of my thoughts that day (and how it interplays on a national or international level).
reflecting on the subject matter of whatever podcast I listened to recently (aka generally random info, but never useless!)
On a typical Friday night I am
raising havoc.
