My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I'm Arthur. Like many of you, I've been very focused on achieving the more important milestones in life... the degree, the career, the car, the house. At this point, I am hoping to find the one to share the rest of my life with. I live in Allen Park, work out of Romulus and play wherever we can have fun. I'm a Continuous Improvement Manager in the bedding Industry with a focus on LEAN Manufacturing. My job is demanding and requires me to deal with a lot of different personality types so interpersonal communication is very important to me. I have been told that I have piercing eyes and that may be true only because I also believe that the eyes are the gateway to the soul. I am a professional who has studied at the undergrad level and has plans to return for grad school in the future. My education has a broad focus on business, management and technology. While my family lives out of state (Ariz.) family is a big part of my life, and it would be nice to meet someone who values this too. I am a Christian and while I don't always set a shining example my faith is important to me and my match should be on the same page with me on this.

I consider myself having a down to earth personality, eccentric at times, honest and direct always. I don't know that I would call myself an overly bubbly person because I snooze my alarm three times just to get up in the morning... lol... but I have never been told that I am boring! I love good conversation. Through personal and professional experiences I have also formed a strong personality but I am always able to connect and empathize with others. I am a caring person who finds happiness in putting others first. Overall I am happy with my life and who I am. I'm up for all kinds of fun things. Whether it is meeting up for the next social event, coffee and conversing, watching a Tiger game at Comerica, taking a cooking class, a dance class or cuddling up at home on a Friday night watching the latest and greatest flick. I am a guy who enjoys any outdoor type activity especially being that where I grew up there wasn't much of a seasonal display. I like to play golf and that is definitely a source of relaxation for me. Leading a healthy and active lifestyle is also important to me however this is an area where I know my motivation can improve. More recently, I have enjoyed cardio and circuit type training. I cook and try to eat healthy food, but I do like some sweets from time to time. For example, have you ever had that "tres leches cake" from Vicente's Cuban Cuisine?

As for who I am looking for... definitely love a woman who is comfortable in her own skin, has a great sense of humor and knows how to relax and have a good time. Someone who is loyal, driven, and caring is my type. A best friend who can laugh with me through this journey we call life. I'm very loving and affectionate in relationships, so I'm looking for someone who is the same way. We have all made past mistakes and have all experienced some degree of difficulty at one point or another in our lives but what is most important to me is the Future. The past is a construct of the mind. It blinds us. It fools us into believing it. But the Heart wants to live in the present and there is where I like to look for answers.

So if I have managed to spark your interest, please send me a quick note and I will definitely write you back. ”.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Phoenician (Ariz.) born and raised and new to Michigan a little over two years now. I know, I know, everyone always asks me what in the world am I doing here, lol. I moved here on a job transfer with the company I have been working for 10+ years. Outside of work I try and have a balanced personal/social life with some of the things I mentioned above including I like to golf some and visit the driving range. I love visiting Comerica ball park for a game and absorbing that atmosphere. I also hit the gym here and
there and try to have a balanced fitness between what I eat and time spent at the gym. Other than that and since I still consider myself a new resident here I love spending time discovering and learning all of which Michigan has
to offer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Words are distantly useful for people who know the true meaning of communication. I like nice, I am Passionate and am attracted to interpersonal relationships that are meaningful and grow in value over time. I generally enjoy living a stress free life and my major success in this is due to not worrying about things that are out of my control. I appreciate one's ability to not allow the negative energy around somone's life ruin the great things in one's life.
