I was helping my parents to run their large produce farm and
develop a line of (hopefully organic) foods so we can all retire
but recently I decided to leave the nest and take a golden
opportunity with some good friends who have a museum installation
service where I will be learning to mount historic artifacts and
documents. Right now I'm working between the B.B. King Museum in
Indianola MS and the Infantry Museum in Columbus GA for the next
few months. I make and sell a lot of art on the side and I'm trying
to travel a bit to decide where to move and start my own gallery /
cafe'/ farm somewhere.
update: after 5 years and 6 or 7 museums I have hung up my mount
making ear plugs for a bit and I'm now working out of my house,
finishing the series of prints, paintings, short stories and
novellas I've been planning for the last 3 years. Also redoing the
paint and floors in my house, and helping my grandmother out (shes
recently a widow after 52 years). I will be semi-stable for a
while, except for some traveling.

I am now attending the Corcoran college of art and design in D.C.
to get a masters in exhibition design. My museum experience should
serve me well, I am helping to hang the student artwork as a fellow
and plan to intern around town and study abroad next summer. I will
be spending most of my time in D.C. for a while, local folks hit me
