I am a full-time artist. It is my calling and I love it. I paint in oil and create found object sculptures. A good day means I've learned something new. Being an artist is also not something from which I ever plan to retire. It engages my heart, challenges my mind and connects me with the world.

I may be busy but I have room in my life for a significant other and I'm looking for a PARTNER, friend and lover with whom I can share the rest of my life. I bring an open heart and a clear head. I often read in these profiles that someone has "no baggage." How I wish it were true. What I can say is I have done my homework and know my own mind. And I have methods and means to clear the cobwebs and not pass junk on to another. I believe thoughtfulness is one of the most important qualities one can bring to any relationship. I offer it and seek it in return.

I'm also a liberal old hippie, very green and a closet philosopher, interested in the HOW of all sorts of things, relishing conversations of depth and ideas. Curiosity keeps the brain lubricated and laughter is one of the world's best medicines.

It's not all that long ago that I relocated back East from Colorado where I had lived for 16 years and which I still love (and miss). These days I'm settling in to Massachusetts and actively building a new community of friends.
