Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Should I just assume that you went straight to the pics and didn't
even bother reading below? Hello cynicism, I missed you!
And now the dilemma, do we do funny or serious. If we do funny
people say, "You should take this seriously" and if we do serious
people say, "You should lighten up" so basically we're
I'm a freelancer: actor, playwright, fight choreographer, and
photographer at times (recently getting a business off the ground
and I started a photo blog, you should ask about it...or follow it.
Yay horrible advertising!). I am just not one for the club scenes
and all of that - I like quiet things and places I can actually
hear people. Plus I'm not a good dancer (trust me I have
references). I guess I'm looking for someone to share in all the
things I do around the city and to find new things to do as well. I
live just outside of it in NJ, mostly for cost reasons (I have a
one bedroom and no roomies for a lot less than what people in the
city and boroughs would pay for that and a short commute). I like
to explore the city, usually with my camera in tow. Also enjoy
hiking. Trying to get in better shape and all around
I read a lot, sometimes draw, play the piano (self taught), and am
slowly learning the harmonica and irish whistle (something I picked
up when out on tour years ago).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently trying to forward my career in the arts. Also getting
back in shape and getting life to work for me! I freelance, so my
schedule makes no sense to anyone ... especially me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
People seem to like my photos, some of my writing, some of my
acting, and some of my choreography (I just noticed a pattern
here...). Also I'm pretty good with numbers but don't know why. I
need to take care of the everyday things more often though...like I
just realized I need to vacuum.
On a non work note: massages…shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone!

This could go on for days, my apt is a small library.
Books (authors might be easier): Arturo Perez-Reverte, Tolkien,
Dumas, George R.R. Martin. I also read a lot of comics, scripts,
Movies: LOTR, Ghostbusters, Pan's Labyrinth, superhero movies, etc
TV: The West Wing, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Family Guy, Doctor Who,
Sherlock, Community, (pretty much everything Whedon or Sorkin
Music: I listen to a lot of background music while working. This
way I don't sing along. Also classical. I'm fairly indifferent to
other forms of music, but enjoy my friends' stuff and the usual
Beatles, Clapton, Billy Joel, Sinatra, Blues Traveller, etc.
Food: I'm pretty much good with everything except for spicy (though
I am slowly working on that) and chinese (whatever replaced MSG in
it HATES me and I do not take the chance again ... ever).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
camera, hat, writing book (it's not a journal if you are writing
stories and scripts in it is it?), friends, piano (surprisingly
soothing when playing), stories.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Figuring out a way to make my work in the arts into an actual
supportive career. Finding someone to join the ride. Oh and I just
started a novel. This frightens me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
These days it's been working on a webseries script, a novel,
various other projects. Sometimes out with people. Otherwise it is
an at home night with cooking, something to watch/read.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I use humor as a defense when I'm nervous.
There are other things, but I am SOOOOOOO not posting them here.
