My Self-Summary
I'm a generally friendly sort who is interested in engaging with
the world in different ways. I try to stay peaceful, open and
outgoing. I'm adventurous and open to new philosophies at every
point in life. I have a diverse, ironic sense of humor. I am well
traveled, but I kind of hate traveling. I have a lot of interests--
including music, art, running, and reading the New Yorker and math
books.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a media artist and currently a graduate student/lecturer at
UCSB in Media Arts and Technology and Computer Science. I also play
drums in a couple of music projects here in Santa Barbara.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like the transcendentalists and also I am a big fan of Emily
Dickinson. Also I like Charlotte Bronte (Villette more than Jane
Eyre). I recently went through a phase where I read only Raymond
Chandler and James Cain. Some science fiction. Outliers was
probably the best thing I've read in the last few weeks.
Favorite music is usually along the lines of noise/free-jazz, but also I like Indian classical music, Bach, indie rock, folk, etc etc
