My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Trying this again..

I moved to the Boston area just over 5 years ago for my MFA in Visual Arts. I grew up in Southern California, but call Boston my home now.

I'm a bizarre fusion of logical thinker and intuitive creator. This can come across as passionate or aloof, rarely laid back but often keeping with the flow of things.

I'm a big believer in trying new tastes when opportunity strikes, particularly in food, beer, occasionally music, but mostly importantly new company.

I've been through this process a few times and I want to be upfront. I have no set plan on things, but I am looking for someone I have chemistry with for either a partner in day to day life, or strictly for the bedroom as we each feel the need. I would have two separate accounts for such a situation, but the fact is I'd just be confusing myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Embracing my artistic hermeticism by making art or lazing at home with TV, or fighting it by going out to art and science events whenever possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Movie/TV references in any conversation, I will find a way.

Getting experimental in the kitchen, whenever I actually get to cooking at home.

Making playlists, ranging from 20 minutes to 6 hours.
The first things people usually notice about me

TV - Grimm, Doctor Who, both Sherlock & Elementary (judge if you will), The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Person of Interest, Continuum, The Mentalist, Bones, Warehouse 13, Stargate SG1, Buffy, Charmed, Smallville, Lost Girl, The L Word, Farscape, really I could go on... obviously I'm a bit a Scifi geek.

Music - The Who, AC/DC, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Modest Mouse, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Florence and The Machine, Nico Vega, Third Eye Blind, Fatboy Slim, and more I won't try to put down.

Movies - Most anything Marvel (Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Avengers, X-Men series, Spiderman), Stranger Than Fiction, Megamind, High Fidelity, Across the Universe, Star Wars (original) and Star Trek (old and new), V for Vendetta, Man of Steel, Dark Knight, Tenacious D & the Pick of Destiny, Stardust, Accepted, Art School Confidential, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, and many many more
Books - Working Space, Andromeda Strain, High Fidelity, A Moveable Feast, Prey, The Medium Is The Massage, 1984, The Cheese Monkeys. I'll admit to not being a prolific reader, and I have little excuse since finishing grad school.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Family (near or far)
- a movie or tv show (something to take a mental break with)
- art supplies (something to make)
- good music
- a good drink
- good company (for sex, conversation, and adventures)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My mind is kind of like an attic where I'm constantly trying to save cool things or junk the useless. The tricky part is deciding what is what, so I can seem lost in my own head space often.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most nights are atypical as of late.
Fridays I look to find art openings, or have drinks with a friend.
The spontaneous OKC meet is left open too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
