I am a noun, another noun, and an adjective.

My Self-Summary

I am a tall, athletic, goofy, smart, smartassed, creative and fairly well adjusted guy. I have a good job that I love, working for a certain airplane company. My degree is in Graphic Design and I consider myself an artist, however, I don't do that for work. I'm a big guy, tall and broad-shouldered. I stay very active, and always looking for ways to do more. In January I got rid of my car and got a bike. It's a change that has been great on so many levels. I am always looking for cycling partners.

Ultimately, I am looking to settle down with a kickass guy. People who are creative, outdoorsy and funny, to the front of the line! Activity partners and new friends are always welcome. Though, if you smoke, litter, take yourself (or others) too seriously, don't know the difference between you're and your, or are oblivious to the happenings of the world, we probably won't get along.

Some Things I Like: brains, non-smokers, good kissers, rugby, martial arts, liberals, patience, humour, cycling, rock hunting, nature, caves, Wikipedia, fine art, tattoos, sexy accents, graphic design, languages, culture, ethnic food, photography, kayaking, swimming/anything in the water, travel, airplanes, movies... and more. Just ask.

What I’m doing with my life

FUN NEWS: I have begun training and planning for a month-long, 10 country bicycling trip across Europe in May. I may be popping up in cities across Europe on here; just looking around. Confirmed on the itinerary are Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Amsterdam, Bruges, Brussels, and Paris.

My job keeps me busy, but not too busy. When I am not working I am probably on my bike or in a movie theatre. I see a lot of movies.

I love art and dabble in painting and photography. I have been working on some new project ideas; I am looking forward to all the rainy days coming up as inspiration for staying in and working on art.

I’m really good at

It seems tacky to list of specific things I am good at, eh? I'll be a sport and give it a whack.

I am pretty good at diffusing tense situations with humour, figuring out solutions to technical problems, cracking a sarcastic joke at marginally inappropriate times, patterns, martial arts, being romantic, caring about others more than myself... what else? Oh, I give pretty awesome massages.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I am tall, or freckly, or that I have a particularly large tattoo on my right leg.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Book: The Bell Jar, His Dark Materials trilogy, Harry Potter, The Hatchet, The Medici Seal, The Lord of the Rings, Earthcore, The Book of Lost Things, and many more.

Movie: I see so many, it's hard to pick. Some recent-ish movies I liked are Slumdog Millionaire, District 9, Star Trek, Up, Inglourious Basterds, Julie & Julia, and The Hangover.

Music: Anything that is good, regardless of who made it. Yes, even country :) I am not a fan of music snobbery.

Food: Ethnic food! Ethiopian, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.

The six things I could never do without

Someone pointed that people are not "things," so I took out my family and my friends - I guess that is a given anyway. So the new list, in no specific order, is as follows:

My bicycle
A great book
My camera
A good ink pen
My notebook
Music

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My place in the world, and how I can be a better fit. I believe that everything we do leaves a mark on the Earth, be it physically or spiritually.

I don't drive because I don't need to, I recycle because it's right. Quality over quantity (I think people are too addicted to WalMart [read: cheap plastic crap]).

I know, I know... kinda heavy for a dating site.

On a typical Friday night I am

SO glad it is Friday night.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm from Wyoming, I can crochet, and I am pierced somewhere fun. :)

You should message me if

Anything piques your interest. We can only write so much in here; there is a lot more to each of us than how we summarize ourselves into little boxes.

Even if you just want to be friends, or we have something in common, say hey. My current number one match is a straight guy in Bellevue, so I don't pay much attention to the percentages listed.
