My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I think all I need to be happy are friends that share challenging activites. I have such great memories from all the traveling I've done that I hope any person I would date would have the confidence and open-mindedness to try new things regardless of how intimidating they may initially seem.
I've been going to the Rockies every winter since I was 6 to ski/snowboard. I've done back-country backpacking in Glacier National Park and Banff (Canada) in the past few years. Last summer I traveled to Caye Caulker, Belize for 8 days of scuba diving.
I believe in living a healthy, balanced life. I try to be a weekday vegetarian, mostly for sustainability and health issues than anything. Did you know if we converted most of our livestock land to wheat and soy fields the U.S. alone could fix the world's food shortage problem? I know its a bit idealistic, but seems like such a simple solution to a problem 7 billion people should probably be sharing.
In addition to eating healthy I actually enjoy working out. Recently I've stopped lifting weights and have found activities to keep me healthy; don't even want to begin to imagine life without my weekly yoga class. In the past year and a half I started participating in triathlons; completed a Half Ironman in Sept 2013 and did a full Ironman in Lake Placid in July 2014.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Does anyone get depressed when filling out this section? Like, "wow, I'm doing nothing with my life otherwise this section should be easy."
Yeah, me neither.
Actually though, I've been a teacher for almost ten years now, amazing how fast time moves. I value my career and the opportunities I get to make a difference in other's lives.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Lots of stuff. Being able to say lots of stuff is a huge confidence booster after that whole "what are you doing with your life?" debacle.

I was wearing a pink shirt to school and a student told me an interesting fact. 100% of women think men who wear pink are manly, but only 50% of men who wear pink like women. Then she asked me what 50% I fell into...burn.

You think men who wear pink are manly, and if you think I'm in the 50% you would be interested in.

You're active and enjoy a healthy life style.

You aren't afraid to try new things, in fact you enjoy the challenge that comes with trying new things and you enjoy the idea of providing that challenge and growth to someone else.

You're open minded, genuine and can tell the difference between times to let loose and times to be serious.

You keep yourself busy, but understand there needs to be a balance between hard work and play.
