My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to laugh, and I love to be laughed at. I am powered by the sun. I make art. I work hard. I geek out. I wander the city at night, often with a friend, sometimes alone. I surround myself with interesting people. Exciting people. Creative people. Brilliant people. People whom I envy. People whom I love. I revel in silence, and I lionize noise – pink or otherwise. Every night, I dream of the desert and the mountains and the sea.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a scatterbrained creative who is lucky enough to support myself working as a professional a sound designer in the New York City theatre scene. I'm always working on a million little side projects, some of which will never be fully realized, others of which I hope may someday relieve some of my internal artistic angst.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I tell a mean whale joke, but we should probably have a drink first.
Due to my Colorado upbringing, I am a rather excellent skier, a skill that has served me well during many a walk down August-cracked Broadway. Though I haven't lived in the the west for four years now, I still have weekly dreams of high alpine meadows and desert crevasses.
The first things people usually notice about me

I suppose I'm rather tall…

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A few incredible friends
An evening coastal breeze
Any sounds at all
Empty mountain peaks
Cheap, delicious food
Daily unknowns
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What do I want to be when I grow up? How is coherence calculated from a transfer function? How do train operators communicate with their dispatch center? Is that a snuggie? Where can I buy Asahi Dark? Why does rain always sound like wind?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Days of the week don't have much of an effect on my schedule. Some weeks, I grab drinks before six on Monday and I work past midnight on Friday; other weeks, my calendar is a bit more typical. It's always a tossup. I work hard so that I can play hard.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Mystery drives relations. Why spoil the surprise? You'll have to get to know me first.
