My Self-Summary
I am a transplant to SF from upstate New York and have lived here
for 10 years. I feel really lucky to be in this amazing, beautiful,
slightly crazy and unique city. I'm comfortable with single life
but would like to meet a guy for a monogamous LTR. I'm also very
interested to expand my circle of friends with people of any gender
with similar interests.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm continuing to maintain a good balance of work and play. I also
invest quite of bit of time volunteering in the GLBT community.
I enjoy traveling back east to visit my family and visiting other
cities in the world, exploring the architecture, landscape and
culture.
I’m really good at
I think I get most compliments about how neat and clean my
apartment is although I would hope that I have other more exciting
talents :) I like photography, music and theater. I think I'm a pretty good
friend to people.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like most everything by David Sedaris, Augustin Burroughs,
Christopher
Bram and Steven McCauley. I guess that
puts my mostly in the gay fiction genre. I'm all over the place
with movies from Almodovar to classics like Lawrence of
Arabia to the latest schlocky zombie flick. The music I'm
currently listening to is Duffy, Jake Walden, Antony and the
Johnsons, Jamie Lidell, Juvelen and Janelle Monae. I love mashups
especially DJ
Earworm. I'm a big fan of Italian (of course), Thai and Indian food. Or anything that a cute
sweet guy cooks for me.
The six things I could never do without
My friends and family (I'll count that all as one), music, the
Internet, ability to travel, coffee, calm.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going, my privilege, possibilities.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out to dinner or happy hour with a friend or two. Or catching up on
TV episodes so I can keep up with what everyone is talking about at
work.
