I am doll eyes, doll mouth, and doll legs.

My Self-Summary

I am running out of colours to dye my hair! Currently stressing over various essays and exams and luck permitting, about to embark on my Year Abroad in Germany, yay! Which will probably mean a rethink into my current choice of hair colour - y'know, new beginnings and all that jazz. I like train journeys through the country - it's amazing what the sight of a tree can do to your mood after living in the city. And jumping on buses to places I've never been before; my last venture being to Streatham for no particular reason.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a student of Film and German at Queen Mary University, desperately trying to scrape a pass after months of procrastination, ha ha. I hope to work for the BBFC one day, though that is a distant dream. Or failing that, opening my own book shop a la Black Books also sounds appealing - I could be the real Bernard Black!

I’m really good at

Spending too much time watching Peep Show and using films as various frames of reference. Attracting strange events - something about me seems to make the hobo on the train think it's ok to sit next to me!

The first things people usually notice about me

The hair? Coupled with my tendency towards darkly-coloured clothes I guess I look like a freakin light bulb.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A) Anything by Irvine Welsh, graphic and smutty it may be... Requiem For A Dream by Hubert Selby Jr, Mother Courage and All Her Children by Bertolt Brecht. Also read American Psycho recently, and I think I've reached my limit in terms of controversial subject matter - they do say you get more conservative as you get older.

B)Requiem For a Dream, Pi, Mysterious Skin, Happiness, The Breakfast Club, The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, American Beauty, Man Bites Dog, La Haine, Goodbye Lenin!, Anchorman, A Tale of Two Sisters.

Generally, anything fairly shocking/funny/disturbing, though I do have some guilty pleasures, eg. Bridget Jones

C) Music relies on mood - currently going through a Michael Jackson 'Dangerous' album phase. Liking the return on bleepy music as well as some shoegaze for the sad/thoughtful times.

D) Anything with as many colourings and artificial flavourings crammed into them as possible - I grew up long before all this organic shit and I turned out fine (!)

The six things I could never do without

My friends, music, films, colours, food and unfortunately cigarettes - I know, I know.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My top 5 anything - it's too damn hard!

On a typical Friday night I am

Currently a shut-in due to revision, but I'd rather be at my friend's house making a make-shift roast, or dancing dancing dancing.
