My self-summary
Best words to describe me: friendly, easy going, kind hearted, artist, nerd, sci-fi, funny (or at least I think I am), mildly sarcastic (once you get to know me), and librarian. And no I don't read books all day, although I probably wouldn't mind that too much. I work at a university helping students, faculty, and staff find materials that help them do research and I also do some of my own. I like heading outdoors when the weather isn't too terrible and walking around, but I also enjoy just staying in reading/watching movies/and playing the my Wii (that is still the worst name ever for a video gaming system.)

My current interests are:
trying out new recipes, either baking or cooking (I'm not great at it, but I enjoy it)
Keeping up with graphic novels (nope they aren't just comic books they have all kinds of cool stuff out there)
Reviewing books on Amazon
Reviewing comics on comicsforge.com
Playing
What I’m doing with my life
Attempting to keep my cats from taking over the world and working as a librarian. I'm also plotting my own webcomic and/or graphic novel, as well as becoming a ninja computer programmer...or at least better than I am now.
I’m really good at
research, writing, reading, drawing, photography, baking and attempting to cook

I spend a lot of time thinking about
webcomic/graphic novel ideas and jotting down notes on what the story should be and the characters should look like

Computer programming--which languages I want to learn, how I want to learn it, and what I want to do with it.

The direction I want my career to take. Yes I plan on staying a librarian, but there are a lot of different aspects to it and I want to explore more of them.

Which books I still need to write book reviews for or which comics I need to review next.

Librarianship in general. I don't spend all of my time thinking about it, but ideas do hit me when I'm catching up with folks online and I jot them down as something to look at trying out/exploring.
On a typical Friday night I am
probably sitting at home reading the latest book that I've picked up from the library or used bookstore or watching something on Netflix. I do enjoy going out though for a good meal, walk about downtown or something along those lines.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
ask me after we've talked for a bit.
