Been living in Santa Rosa for the last two years after 8 years in San Francisco. I love getting out hiking, kayaking, scuba, fishing and recently started mushroom hunting.
I love the outdoors and staying active. I enjoy basically anything outside and active. I like to try new things and openly commit to plans if they sound fun.
I recently got a new dog and put in my notice to my job after 12 years. Things are changing and it is positive.
What I’m doing with my life
Changing gears. I worked in recycling doing policy work for 12 years and will be done at the beginning of March. Taking a few months off to travel, do some scuba diving and explore locally before finding my next job.
I’m really good at
Getting motivated for anything fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a movie buff, enjoy most types of music (usually anything that gets me moving), and I read a lot of Wikipedia pages.
Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Purple Rain, City of God, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Drive, and Magnolia.
Music: Talking Heads, Prince, Kendrick Lamar, The-Dream, Chance the Rapper, Phoenix, and Minus the Bear. I pay close attention to the rap game.
Television: Breaking Bad, American Horror Story, Comedy Bang Bang, 30 for 30 Documentaries
Books: I don't read too much outside of vacations, but I prefer non-fiction and collections of short stories. The last couple authors I have gotten into were David Sedaris and Malcolm Gladwell.
My favorite foods to eat are probably Mexican and Thai and I love drinking some good IPA’s.
The six things I could never do without
My family, friends, dogs, the outdoors, burritos, and desire/opportunity to try new things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Weekend plans, camping, trips, kayaking, scuba, fishing etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually dinner with friends and a few drinks. Otherwise, resting up for a big Saturday, or on a short trip.
You should message me if
You like what you hear about me and at least have the intention of
wanting to work towards a relationship. I have no idea where things
might lead, but hope for the best.
